We are so excited to welcome the newest member of the South Fork Vet family, sweet Hugh Lawrence!💙 We were so excited to welcome him and celebrate his arrival during our South Fork Summer Bash! A huge thank you to the Bixler Art Barn for letting us enjoy your beautiful space and helping make our summer celebration so special. We are incredibly grateful for each and every member of our South Fork team and all the hard work, dedication, and heart they bring to our team. We are especially thankful for our summer kennel staff who have spent their summer working hard, caring for our boarders, and becoming such an important part of the South Fork family. While we are proud to see them heading back to school, we are going to miss having them around! ❤️🐾 Here’s to a summer full of memories, teamwork, new beginning, and a whole lot of gratitude for our amazing South Fork family!

✨ Welcome (back) to Dr. Milan Black ✨

Many of our clients may already recognize Dr. Black. Prior to veterinary school, she spent almost three years as a full time veterinary assistant here at South Fork and even returned during summers and breaks.

Milan is excited to be back home serving the Pratt community she knows and loves! She truly enjoys all aspects of a rural, mixed animal practice and especially has a passion for equine medicine, food animal medicine, and all things surgical.

When she’s not in the clinic or by the chute, you’ll likely find Milan in the saddle, helping her husband Austin run cattle, or spending time with their corgi, Goat.

Dr. Black looks forward to providing high quality veterinary care while building meaningful relationships with the producers and pet owners she serves.

Next time you’re in the clinic, say hi! She’s already “ off to the races” seeing patients.
