Three groups of second graders joined us on the farm to learn about wind and water erosion. Mark also talked about ground covers and soil biology. Always a fun time that we look forward to!

Southwest School 2nd graders were back on the farm learning about the different types of soils, and how wind and water erosion affects each. Farming practice’s that reduce those affects were also discussed. Fun day!

Another fun day with second graders on the farm! Each year the students come out to learn about soil types, root systems, erosion, terraces, and overall soil health. Plus, anywhere the questions take Mark, lol!
