We just wanted to thank everyone who came out last week and helped make some much needed room in our shelter. We adopted out 151 animals and sent another 31 to foster. This community and the love it has for pets never ceases to amaze us! Thank you!

If you missed the adoption special last week, have no fear! We are in the midst of another adoption special, Empty the Shelters, through The BISSELL Pet Foundation. You can adopt an adult dog or cat with any donation of your choosing in place of an adoption fee.

We are in desperate need of foster families. We have several dogs right now waiting at a board facility until a foster home becomes available. And we are forced to turn dogs away we could easily help, but we don’t have anywhere to put them.

❤️ AGK will supply you with anything you might need.
❤️AGK will cover all the dog’s medical expenses and professional training if needed.
❤️ We will match you with a dog that is a good fit for your lifestyle and family (for instance if you have children, we will match you with a dog that is good with children).
❤️ We need short term fosters, long term fosters. We need fosters for quiet seniors and bubbly puppies.
❤️ If you have been thinking about adding an additional dog to your family, this is a great opportunity to see how your family responds to another dog.
❤️ If you would love to have a dog but you aren’t in a position to commit to one now (such as being a student or not having the finances to support a dog) fostering is a great opportunity to have a dog without the commitment.
❤️ Fostering is the heartbeat of every rescue. It is our fosters that make the biggest impact in these dog’s lives.

Saving one dog won’t change the world. But for that one dog, the world will change forever.
