** COME VISIT ME AT PET SUPERMARKET, 3405 Dallas Hwy SW, Marietta, GA **
Hi! I am MARCY (DOB: ~06/01/2025), a sweet, kind, and beautiful Brown/Black/Beige Mackerel tabby domestic short hair. My foster mom says I am sweet, kind, and have a quiet presence, not overly “kittenish” in terms of getting into everything! She described me as the absolute perfect cat, so affectionate and so kind, and always looking for love. Sometimes she looks away, turns back around, and there I am - a quiet shadow if you will. While I would love to join you and any existing cat, I would also do great in a home with a respectful dog, or even solo, as your single pet - more love and attention for me! And while i am a sweet, polite, and somewhat more quiet kitty, make no mistake, I’m also very playful, especially when I am chasing and catching my many toys. But more so than not, I crave a good lap and look forward to providing (and receiving) an abundance of love. I am spayed, up-to-date with vaccines, negative for Feline FIV/FeLV, dewormed, have received flea preventative, and am microchipped. My adoption fee is $150.00.

!!! WE NEED YOUR HELP REGARDING ONE OF OUR FFRS KITTIES !!!

This is TeddyBobby, named for Ted Turner and Bobby Cox who passed away right after he was rescued from a local animal control on May 6. He came in with a damaged eye and was in the care of a vet, but his eye ruptured on a Friday night. His foster mom took him to an emergency vet where he had to have his eye removed. He is doing well now. The vet bill for his surgery was $3950.

Any amount you could donate would definitely help us see that the proper care is handled for this handsome kittiy and our other FFRS kitties with medical needs. We had to dip into our reserve account and are hoping to be able to replace at least some what has been paid for the proper care of this precious little boy and our other FFRS kitties with medical needs. You can make a one-time charitable donation through our PayPal Account at https://www.fancyfelinerescue.org/donate.htm.

Thanks to each and everyone of you who want to help us help these kitties who deserve so much!! If you have any questions regarding this handsome kittiy, please reach out to us and we will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

We spend big bucks on our pets, and those dollars are drawing private equity firms to jump into veterinary services.

💜 Mental Health Matters in Animal Welfare 💜

Every rescued animal has a story - and behind that story is a human carrying the weight of heartbreak, hope, emergencies, loss, and responsibility.

Rescue work is rewarding, but it can also be emotionally exhausting. Constant exposure to suffering, crisis situations, and impossible decisions takes a toll on rescuers, shelter staff, veterinarians, foster families, and volunteers every single day.

Compassion fatigue is real.

Rest is not quitting. Boundaries are not weakness. Saying “I can’t take one more right now” is not selfish.

The people saving animals deserve care too.

This Mental Health Awareness Month, let’s remind the animal welfare community that protecting your own well-being is part of protecting theirs. Sustainable rescue saves more lives in the long run. 🐾

❤🥰❤ WELCOME HOME, MELODY!!! ❤🥰❤

MELODY, our young lady with the broken femur that couldn't be repaired due to the possibility of nerve damage with an extensive surgery, found her way into the hearts and home of Debbie and Darryl today. They recently lost their beloved kitty and were feeling a bit lost without a furry companion. They fell in love with MELODY and her story and decided they would provide all the love, attention, and care that MELODY deserves. Thank you both for wanting to bring a rescue kitty into your lives. We know that MELODY will be cherished forever!!
