What an incredible day at the barn — full of laughter, costumes, and community spirit! From the Halloween Costume Contest 👻 to the exciting Gambler’s Choice jumping challenge 🐎, and of course our delicious potluck feast 🍂 — there was so much fun to be had by all!

Huge thanks to everyone who dressed up, cheered, baked, and helped make this such a memorable day. 💛

🌟 We are so proud of Millie and Ruel Johnson’s Rubicon for participating in the “Refine Your Ride” clinic with WSHJA judge Julia Kubicek this weekend at Bridle Trails State Park! 🐴✨

What an amazing opportunity to ride with such an experienced professional and gain insight from a judge’s perspective. Millie and Rubicon did a fantastic job, and we’re so excited to watch their partnership continue to grow. 💚👏

🌟 August Horse Camp Photo Drop! 🌟

What a fantastic week we had at camp last week! 🐴✨ Our campers had so much fun learning, creating, and riding. Some highlights included:

Making their own stick horses out of pool noodles 🐎🎨

Dressing up their lesson horses as racehorses for games and fun 🏇💨

Horse decorating for our end-of-camp show (so much glitter and creativity!) 🌈

Hands-on learning of the parts of the bridle and saddle 🐴🪶

And of course… plenty of riding time with our amazing horses! ❤️

We’re so proud of everything our campers learned and the smiles we saw all week.

✨ Congratulations to Marissa Pickering and Fijntastic News on earning 3rd place in the Thunderbird Good Hands & Seat Medal 1.0m at the 2025 Summer Fort Classic! 🏅

This was a very large and competitive class with many talented riders, and Marissa’s composure, effective riding, and strong partnership with her horse stood out in the ring. Her consistency and dedication continue to shine through, and we are proud to celebrate this accomplishment.

A special thank you to Elizabeth Beasley for her support and guidance at the show — it was wonderful to have her there with Marissa.
