Please note that we will be closed on 11/27 and 11/28 and will resume normal business hours on Monday, 12/1. Enjoy the holiday don’t eat to much! Make sure if you are sharing all the delicious food with your pets it’s safe for them to eat. Nobody wants to end up at the emergency vet 🧡

This little guy was microchipped at some point here but the owner never registered the chip so we are having a hard time identifying him. He was found and taken to Blackshear Vet please share in hopes his owner will see. Proof of ownership is required to reclaim.

Two senior beagles are arriving today, and they need a soft place to land. 💔
At 13 and 10 years old, they found themselves on the euthanasia list at another shelter and we couldn’t let that happen. We stepped in, but what they really deserve is a quiet, loving home while we search for a rescue placement.

Shelters can be overwhelming, especially for seniors. A foster home could make all the difference. ❤️

Day 2 of Transports!
Luke made his way to us after his owner sadly passed away. As a one-owner pup, the shelter environment was going to be especially hard on him. So we jumped into action and started reaching out for rescue support.
Thanks to the hard work of our amazing rescue coordinator, Karissa, we were connected with a Weimaraner rescue who gladly stepped up to welcome all 112 lbs of this handsome guy. 💙
We have no doubt they’ll set him up with a wonderful new family. Here’s to fresh starts and second chances for sweet Luke!

Our sweet Bruce took his freedom ride yesterday to SouthEast Beagle Rescue, where he’ll receive the heartworm treatment and TLC he needs to get healthy and ready for his next chapter.

Special Transport ♥️
Yesterday, Leah and Jason made the long drive to South Carolina with 25 precious animals, giving them the chance to take their freedom flights to a handful of incredible rescues who opened their doors and their hearts.
It was an emotional day — marking one year since the tragic plane crash that took our sweet little pup Lisa and one of our selfless pilots, Seuk Kim. The weight of that loss was felt deeply, but the day was made a little brighter by the lives saved in their honor.
Thank you to everyone who had a hand in making this mission possible. ❤️
