Our newest baby 😍 ….. Her mama has a lot of help between “shepherd” Malachi and Bella (our horse) who is just as in love with this sweet heifer as her mama is.

The pigs are almost ready! Selling them whole and live for $300 each. Deadline for pickup is September 6th but we’ll grow out until then. They’re about 150 lbs now. No butcher fees or coordination included.

Finally! Our okra patch is seeded! My best farmer did some hand seeding on his own a week or so ago, before we called in the big guns and Daddy saved us with the tractor! I can easily spot Malachi’s work with no problem! ☺️

We’ve got an order going in Monday for chickens. If anyone would like to add to it, it’s open until Monday at 8 a.m.

For our out town customers - We’ve got a delivery to Huntersville and Asheville on this order as well.

I’ve edited our original post as well, but wanted to clarify -

When ordering chickens, we have a minimum to be able to place the hatchery order to raise a batch but that DOES NOT MEAN EACH CUSTOMER HAS TO PURCHASE 10 chickens! Orders for less than 10 chickens are always welcomed as the minimum can be made up of our collective orders serving multiple customers. Feel free to send orders of any number! We’ll gladly keep your order on file (usually a short time of 7-10 days) and a processing date will be given once we have others to add to collectively meet the minimum. We appreciate your patience with us as we work through these “startup” kinks and we look forward to serving all of you!

As requested, order details for our meat chicken!

Price: $5.79/pound for whole chicken. Can be custom butchered per request for an additional $2.5 per bird.

Average weight per chicken: 5 pounds.

Order dates: We raise them to order with a 10-chicken minimum per order. Once the order is placed, it takes on average 8-12 weeks for chickens to be ready for delivery according to hatchery availability. Processing date will be given once confirmed with hatchery.

Deposit: A $15 deposit will be taken for each chicken. Balance will be due at processing, according to actual weight.
