Over the next 2 weeks, we will be hosting a “food & more” drive at PFP! This is open to the public and we encourage you to spread the call for donations as well as sharing with folks who might need to pick them up.
We hosted this last year when SNAP was outrageously shut down leaving our community members with a major disruption to accessing food. The food and more drive was so successful we are keeping it as a tradition this fall!
HOW IT WORKS:
•Bring food items or toiletries to CSA pick up at the designated table.
•What to bring: everything from canned goods and pasta to toiletries and snacks.
•What not to bring: anything open, partially used or expired.
•OR take home any item from the table that you need from the table. ANYONE can take items home, regardless of membership. No sign-in or ID is required.
•Any items not taken home over the next few weeks will be donated to one of our many foodshare partners in the City of Poughkeepsie.
