Welcome our newest paw-some cat friend Amy Bathurst Francis owner/operator of fineLINE design. As the story unfolds: a panicked call came in to us late Tuesday afternoon. Help!! Our feral cat Max whom we have been taking care of for years needs to see the vet and they close at 6. We were scheduled out that evening but quickly set out some traditional traps and set up a drop trap to monitor on and off. Max is no dummy. He was already TNR'D so he knew what happens when you step into a traditional trap. And we understood the drop trap was going to be the only way to secure him. He was very suspicious of my presence; stranger danger. But it gave me a chance to study his behavior and movements. So we devised a plan and Amy received a crash course in drop trapping and she was all in. Within 10 minutes of setting up, she had Max secure. A veterinarian appointment was rescheduled. While holding, flea treatment is a very important first step and Max was having no part of an oral pill crushed in his food. So our friend Tracie Lynn, president of The Safe Cat Network and vet tech extraordinaire at PAWS - Pottstown Animal Wellness Services stopped over to apply a dose of Revolution. And while she was here, Max had one of his soft stinky poos 💩 and rolled his foot right into it. She gently cleaned his beautiful white fur and experienced his first ever purrs that anyone has heard!! Max is one of the lucky ones. Following a full vet work up, he will be joining Amy's family indoors 🩵. It makes our heart happy when we can be a part of the journey making cats lives better, one cat at a time.

Terrific Tuesday. Daisy is enjoying her breakfast banana 🍌, Rocky chose a long hike as we both enjoy the lower temperature and less humidity, and Fiona is taking tongue out Tuesday to the next level.
