❗️ WE ARE FULL ❗️

We are desperately searching for adopters that are ready to give our residents the FOREVER homes they deserve ❤️‍🩹

We are operating beyond capacity with 75+ adult dogs/puppies and 175+ adult cats/kittens. Our incredible staff is working their hardest to keep up with all of the residents in our care.

Recently, just from the calls one of our front desk staff members answered from ONE day, we were asked to take in at least 30 animals. 30+!!! It’s heartbreaking to have to deny them but we simply have no space 💔

We have the sweetest dogs & cats that would LOVE a home of their own. So many have never had the opportunity to experience that joy 🥹
Nothing makes our staff and volunteers happier than seeing our residents finally get adopted!

COME VISIT OUR BOOTH AT THE SCIOTO COUNTY FAIR!!! 🎡🎟️🐾

We are located in the middle of building 3! We have sweets (for humans) and dog bones available for purchase, $5 raffle entries for a FREE dog/cat spay or neuter, raffle for a free Sierra’s Haven t-shirt, and more!! ✨🐕🐱

A Pawsome Thank You! ❤️🐾

HUGE SHOUTOUT TO People’s Bank in Wheelersburg for hosting a community donation drive to benefit the animals here at Sierra’s Haven 🥹

Yesterday they delivered food, cleaning supplies, paper products, and other much-needed items. Every single donation helps us provide the best possible care for the cats and dogs who depend on us each day.

To everyone who took the time to purchase and drop off an item, thank you for your kindness, compassion, and generosity. Your support keeps us going on the tough days.

From all of us at Sierra's Haven, thank you, Ohio Pet Fund, for your compassion and support. It takes a village to save lives, and we are so grateful to have you in ours. Thank you for believing in our mission and helping these little ones. Because of you, these puppies have a fighting chance. Thank you for caring and for standing beside us.

Paws together for the Sierra's Haven For New And Used Pets and Humane Society of Greater Dayton and heart-wrenching situations recently (pictures on their pages). The HS of Greater Dayton took in 26 live (10 deceased) cats, and Sierra's Haven is taking three of the skinniest puppies I've seen; one may not make it. Help if you can. We sent spay/neuter funds. We know they are not alone in having very challenging situations in these summer months. We're very heartened by community responses to situations like the one in Wayne County, and responses to the lack of resources in Scioto County. When we feel down, we remember Mr. Rogers and "look for the helpers!"
