As the last day of our highlighting a different black bunny each day this week, we are ending with the gorgeous Onion!

Onion is bonded with her counterpart, Sour Cream, and together these two become the most epic flavor of chips out there😜. These two are very playful bunnies who are fully litter box trained. They are sweet bunnies who are sweet, curious, and can always be found playing or napping together. Please message us with any questions you have on this adorable bonded pair!

🎃👻As we wrap up this amazing week showing off how amazing the black bunnies are here at the rescue, we would love to hear from YOU! If you have a black bunny in your life that you adore, PLEASE share their picture below in the comments. We want the world to see how amazing, beautiful, playful, and kind their bunnies are.

TOMORROW!

Just a reminder that after you've done all the Trick-or-Treating tonight, there is still another fun weekend event you don't want to miss! We will be at the Pause for Pets Craft & Vendor Fair tomorrow from 10-3pm. This is an amazing way to meet some adoptable bunnies, shop at local vendors, and support Greater Androscoggin Humane Society !

RCRR alumni, Pretzel, is all ready for the festivities tonight!

💭If YOUR rabbit had to dress up as anything for Halloween, what would it be? We definitely know there would be some Cookie Monsters, Angels, Escape Artists, and Carrot Farmers in our group of adoptable bunnies 🎃

Twas’ the night before Halloween, and all through the land, not a creature was stiring…except the bunnies who were trying to squeeze their bunny bums into their pumpkin costumes 🎃

Happy Friday and Halloween-Eve all! As always, we’re asking for some bunny tax: drop a picture of a bunny bum to be added to next week’s post. Added bonus if there is some Halloween or Autumn themed cottontail pics 😉

Day 5 of showcasing some of our black bunnies up for adoption 🖤🎃🖤

Meet the adorable Dippy! This sweet boy deserves to be someone's favorite, not someone's superstition. He is a sweet young bunny who adores pets and has shown that he enjoys attention during our MEow Lounge events. If nobody is paying attention to him during the event, he will stand on his hind legs looking for people to give him some pets. He has even been known to happily fall asleep during a cuddle session.

The only black magic here, is how fast you'll fall in love with Dippy. Use the link in our bio to apply for this adorable bunny today!

🐰🌾 A huge shout-out to our wonderful friends, Jesse and Michael at In-Between Farm, for their incredibly generous donation of hay for our bunnies! We cannot thank you both enough, this helps us so much.

Small businesses that go out of their way to support animal rescues deserve ALL the love! These acts of kindness come straight from the heart and make a HUGE difference for rescue animals in need.

If you are looking for some local, all natural honey, laundry powder, and goat milk soap, please go check them out! They are kind, wonderful humans, but also make amazing products ♥️

“He’s right behind me, isn’t he...?”😱👻 Those scary, spooky vibes have hit RCRR🎃

Just kidding!...Frida and Opie are clearly very much bonded and very happy. But we have to admit, there has been quite a few times where our own bunnies have randomly appeared behind us and made us jump.

🩶🤍Opie and Frida

This adorable bonded pair are searching for their forever home and a family of their own. Frida is around 3.5 years old and Opie is around 2 years. We can tell that Frida is definitely the more outgoing one of the two. Though Opie tends to be a bit more nervous, he truly is great and so brave about his nails being clipped.

Frida will need extra support with monitoring her weight because of the incisors that were removed.

If you have any questions about Opie and Frida, please feel free to send us a message and use the link in our bio to apply. 💕

"WOAH! There's an event I don't want to miss?! Lets go!"

We are so excited to be attending the Buns & Boatanicals events on November 14th from 11am-2pm at Skillins . This is a great event to come meet some RCRR rabbits and do some shopping! We can't wait to see you there. 🥕💚

Humphrey is ready to be somebody's little shadow 🖤

Day 4 of us highlighting some of our black bunnies is dedicated to the not-so-spooky Humphrey! This handsome bun has the most gorgeous black, velvety fur. He is bonded to Bean so the two of them would be a adopted together 🥰

Know someone who is looking to adopt? Please help us share this post to help Humphrey find his forever home!

Thank you RB Animal Photography for these gorgeous photos of our sweet guy.
