What happens when an activist/wildlife rehabber and the director of a homeless shelter/dog rescuer find a disabled puppy that is about to be euthanized? A $10,000 vet bill and a story of determination. You know what to do 🫶🏼

We can’t save them all but we will try, one life at a time. Current projects ongoing: Koa—double leg amputee (last video) is working on getting her custom 3D printed wheelchair. Guatemala hoarding situation is live and unfolding

We are working to stabilize a situation we just became aware of with 20-30 dogs being kept by a well intended but uneducated and under resourced “rescuer” in Guatemala. Please read the details in the photos as to why we are not pursuing alternative interventions and remember the resources available there. This is a delicate balance as we work to maintain communication and access with the people involved who can easily and quickly bar us from the property which would escalate the situation drastically and may not end up in the best interest of the dogs. May all of our dogs forever stay unrecognizable from who they were when we first met them 🥺🫶🏼
