We have been providing excellence in veterinary care for the Portage and Kalamazoo area for over 50 years.

Our small animal and exotic pet practice is skilled in meeting the health needs of your pet family member. Our doctors and staff regularly attend continuing education seminars to ensure that your pet receives the best care possible. We offer radiology, laboratory, and ultrasound diagnostics as well as preventive medicine, behavior consultations, pet boarding services, bird and exotic pet medicine, and soft tissue surgery.

Their ancient ancestors were mastiff-type drover dogs used by the Roman Empire to herd cattle and protect soldiers while crossing the Alps.

HANNAH has been with Milwood for 11 months and is continuing her education with attending Veterinary School in the near future! Hannah enjoys how the support staff at Milwood cares for our patients. The environment is very positive and uplifting! Hannah has 2 dogs and 1 cat. In her free time Hannah loves reading, crocheting, and going to the gym!

KYLIE has been with Milwood for 9 months and is currently enrolled in Penn Foster's Veterinary Technician program to become licensed! Kylie loves our amazing support staff and the learning opportunities we provide. Kylie enjoys learning all about the different species and growth in this field! Kylie has 1 dog and 2 cats! In her free time Kylie loves traveling, being outdoors, hiking, camping, kayaking and reality tv!
