As a trainer my dogs are second to customers dogs. I’ve slacked a lot with keeping up on training however I did get some good reps in with my psycho.

Don’t get discouraged because you didn’t train your dog for a week. Don’t get discouraged because it looks sloppy. It’s the fact that you are still trying that makes a difference.

Well… apparently the food truck portion of our 5-Year Celebration is officially getting scratched. 🙃

We have now had TWO food trucks confirm that they would be at our event and then cancel on us.

I completely understand that things happen and plans sometimes have to change. But as a small business owner myself, I also believe that when you commit your business to another business’s event, your word should mean something.

Planning an event takes a tremendous amount of time, coordination and advertising. When a vendor confirms, I stop looking for someone else because I assume we have an agreement. Having this happen twice has been incredibly frustrating and, quite frankly, has left me pretty disappointed with how some food truck businesses handle commitments.

So rather than continue chasing food trucks and wondering who will actually show up, we’re scratching that idea and moving on to Plan B!

We’re looking into some other food options for our 5-Year Celebration on October 3rd from 12–4.

Stay tuned… because apparently I’m adding “figure out how to feed a crowd” to my job description. 😂
