Bliss Veterinary Services is a family oriented practice that caters to both large and companion animals. Bliss, D.V.M. who is a graduate of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Bliss completed her clinical year at The Ohio State Univeristy in May 2011. Dr. Bliss and Her husband, Timothy Sparks operate a beef cow-calf operation as well as assist operation of the family owned Patch of

Bliss Equestrian Center. Dr. Bliss prides herself on being compassionate about the medical treatment and overall well-being of all animals. Dr. Bliss understands the importance of both family and community and strives to institute both in her practice. The mission of Bliss Veterinary Services is to provide compassionate, above standard medical care to all of it's patients.

Super proud of our Dr. Megan tonight! She performed a csection on a little goat to save her life. Sadly, the baby had already passed, as the mother's cervix never dilated. But Dr. Megan made the quick decision to perform a c-section which saved momma's life tonight!

Time is very inconsiderate! It just drives by as fast as it wants and doesn't slow down or wave! Here are the last couple weeks in a nutshell. I'm sorry for not posting more consistently lately. But we are already enjoying summer with our students and we now have a freshman and a middle schooler in our home!

After a difficult at home euthanasia of a very very dear patient and friend, I came outside to find Cheyenne laying in the rain, singing, and holding a box turtle she rescued yesterday ❤️ Cheyenne bravely assisted mommy in bringing peace to that beautiful soul.

I feel blessed to experience God's presence in every moment of every day. Both the terrible and the beautiful. He guides me through the difficult. And he allows me to soak in the small yet wonderful moments that stop me in my tracks.

I feel like so little lately has been about posting veterinary related content. Which I promise to get an update from last week's adventures. But I have felt moved to share raw life moments with you all as I feel as though everyone needs that right now. Humanity......nothing fancy. Nothing impressive. But just.... REAL. And God given.

I don't want to be remembered as one of the greatest veterinarians..or most successful. There was a day I wanted that. But no. All I want is to be remembered for is for being kind. And being someone that when I spoke, when I worked, when I posted, when I interacted, that you would feel the presence of God working.

I have made so many mistakes. I have done wrong. Caused harm. Disappointed. Fell short of being a good wife, mother, sister, friend, aunt, mentor, colleague, veterinarian....

But. God gave me the possibility of second and third and fourth chances for so many of those. And I found myself again because I found Him. Truly. Found Him. And I will strive every day to be better than I was the day before.

"Faith is not meant to be private. It is meant to be shared."

Have a blessed Sunday. And even in the rain, see the sun. Just because it's not visible, doesn't mean it's not there.

Prolapse season is upon us! Give us a call to make sure those calves are presenting in the correct position and we can stitch those girls up quick and treat for any underlying conditions like low calcium, infection, and inflammation! 😉😎
