This is Count Chocula (Choco), a 6-month-old mixed breed puppy. He and his siblings came in as strays and are now ready for their forever homes.
Choco is currently 39 lbs, so he will be on the larger side and is a typical puppy. He likes other dogs, kids, and we believe will be fine with cats with a proper introduction.

Applications can be found on our website. All dog adoptions include:

✅Vaccinated, microchipped, spay/neuter, a month of Heartworm and flea prevention
✅One free private training class with TM Canine Services
✅Unlimited group training classes with TM Canine Services
✅ A free Intro run with Run-N-Paw
✅ A starter bag of food and goodies through our partnership with Hill’s Pet Nutrition
✅ A wellness check with Halifax Veterinary Center in the first 30 days after adoption
✅A lifetime of Love ❤️🖤

All animals in the home must be up to date on vaccines, and dogs must be up to date on heartworm prevention.

A meet-and-greet with other dogs in the home would be required to adopt.

Halifax Humane Society is ending its contract with Volusia County and its cities, meaning it will no longer accept stray or dangerous animals from around the area.

Today is the final day to experience Universal Orlando’s Rip Ride Rockit, the coaster that blared your chosen soundtrack as you flew up a vertical lift.

From its debut in 2009 to its fan-favorite music picks and iconic ride stats (167 ft, 65 mph), this was more than a coaster—it was a vibe.

Remember when Jimmy Fallon forced Kevin Hart to ride it? Absolute comedy gold.

Training focus: A female dog who is mildly dog-reactive (from a local Animal Shelter). Great opportunity to work calm, structured exposures in a controlled setting.

Bring:
- 6’ leash (no retractable leashes)
- High-value treats
- Water

Rules:
- No on-leash greetings
- Keep spacing unless directed
- Calm, neutral practice only
