💔It is with broken hearts that we have lost a fellow animal advocate in a house fire early this morning. Chris is the founder of on Long Island. The fire claimed his life and many of the over 200 cats. There are many cats who are in an outside enclosure that were spared. We will be taking as many as we can along with many other rescue organizations. Right now the authorities will not allow anyone on the property while the scene is being investigated. Our prayers go out to Chris’s family as well as all the animals. This is a horrific tragedy. There are plenty of cat carriers on standby and many people willing to assist. After they are medically treated, foster/homes will be desperately needed for these poor cats. 🙏🏻💔
