Introducing the ONE AND ONLY Dock Diving Irish Terrier, Giggles! She earned her DNA (Dock Novice Advanced) title today at the NADD DDOM End of the Year Spectacular! Her farthest jump today was 7' 3"!! Onward to her DNX (Excellence) title next year!!

Giggles is a Dock Diving 🌟 STAR 🌟!! She's getting better and better at jumping with the slightest hesitation before jumping. She jumped a 8 FEET tonight!! That's a foot plus farther than she has been jumping (thanks to Regina for holding her on the dock to release to SQUIRREL!!😂😂)
This weekend is the NADD DDOM Summer Pawty trial and she'll get 8 of the 10 more jumps needed for her DNA (Dock Novice Advance). If only I had registered her for Friday jumps... but I NEED to work so I can pay for her to play. The last weekend in August will be the NADD DDOM End of the Year Spectacular trial with 3 days of jumps! Maybe next year Air Retrieve????😂😂 I'm actually surprised she's jumping, swimming and retrieving!!

WOO HOOOOO!! My Giant Schnauzer, Delta, made it to the FastCat Nationals this year!! I just have a FEW DAYS to decide whether or not I'm going 🤔
Delta is currently ranked the #2 fastest Giant Schnauzer. By the time the Invitational comes, she SHOULD have her FastCat 4!!

Meet Cooper, an almost 15 month old Moyen Poodle. (When full grown he'll be the size between a Miniature Poodle and a SMALL Standard Poodle, weighing in at about 25-30lbs.) He was an exceptionally good puppy for his first big boy groom. Can't wait to watch him grow up!!😍

Did you know...

Its not just purebred dogs that can be handstripped. Meet Lulu, a white Miniature Schnauzer X. (White Miniature Schnauzers are a recognized acceptable color in Europe but not in the USA in AKC American Kennel Club.)
Handstripping dramatically improves a dog's skin health by completely removing dead hairs from the root, resetting the hair follicles and allowing the skin to breathe. 🚧🚧10TH STREET ROAD CONSTRUCTION 🚧 🚧

Those of you who use 10th Street to get to and from Elite Pet Styling for grooming appts or any other reason BE AWARE of the road construction starting Monday June 1 through Monday August 31.
**PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT DIRECTION TRAFFIC WILL BE OPEN DURING DIFFERENT STAGES OF THE CLOSURES**

PLEASE SHARE WITH ALL YOUR ACQUAINTANCES AND FRIENDS TO HELP TRAVELS GO SMOOTHLY!!

The City of Port Huron will begin the 10th Street Road Reconstruction and Utility Replacement Project the week of June 1, 2026. Work will take place on 10th Street from Lapeer Avenue to the Black River and is expected to be open to traffic by August 31, 2026.

The project includes road reconstruction, asphalt paving, curb and gutter replacement, driveway approach replacement, sidewalk and ADA ramp improvements, water main and water service replacements, select storm and sanitary sewer replacement, and pavement markings.

To help maintain traffic circulation, the project will be completed in three stages:

• Stage 1: Southbound traffic open, northbound traffic closed
• Stage 2: Northbound traffic open, southbound traffic closed
• Stage 3: Reconstruction of the Lapeer Avenue intersection

Please follow all posted traffic control signage, including “Road Closed – Local Traffic Only” signs.

FINALLY home from a long show weekend...

Delta did good!! I'm so proud of her💜💜
FASTCAT...Thursday and Friday she ran FastCat and was pretty consistent in her time and speed. 3 of 4 runs her time was 7.71 seconds (26.53mph) and 1 run was 7.77 seconds (26.32mph). She's a bit slower this year than last year... she gained a little weight over the winter and she's not quite in shape yet. Saturday it rained all day, so for safety reasons no running. Sunday and Monday no running as there was a bit of rain Sunday and the grass was too wet to run.
DOCK DIVING... Thursday, Friday, Sunday and Monday we're dock diving days! Thursday half of her jumps were in the Masters class (a range of 20-24' 11") the rest of her jumps for the weekend were in the Senior class (a range of 15- 19' 11") earning her more points towards her Masters and Senior Advanced Titles.
CONFORMATION... Thursday RWB (Reserve Winners B*tch), Friday WB (Winners B*tch) for 2 points, Best of Winners and OHBOB (Owner Handled Best of Breed), Saturday RWB, Sunday WB for a 3 point major and Monday WB for a 3 point major, BOS (Best of Opposite S*x) and OHBOB. She earned a total of 8 points (with both majors!!) this weekend added to the 1 point she earned last year for 9 of 15 points towards her championship!!🏆🎖

Day 2 of 5 at the West Michigan Apple Blossom Cluster in Kalamazoo, MI.
Yesterday morning Delta got to run FastCat at 9am, showed in conformation at 1pm (actually closer to 2pm), then Dock Diving, 4 splashes (8 jumps), by 3pm.
Today was conformation at 1030am, Dock Diving at noon, FastCat at 2pm and OH Group around 4pm. I fully expected her to be dragging around the group ring being tired... nope! Not Delta!! She just keeps going and going and going!! I actually had my eye on lure coursing but didn't want to try a new sport in the middle of a show weekend. That'll be a weekend trial just like FastCat.
This photo was taken at 948pm and I think she's finally whipped! After jogging 2 laps around the hotel just to get her to 💩, which she hasn't yet🤦‍♀️
