Thank you to our dedicated Saturday volunteer, Amy, for a donation toward Colston's ongoing thyroid treatment. He enjoyed sitting on Amy's lap while she loved on him!

It has been a busy 2 days. We had requests for help for worm and eye medication for two cat owners as well as wound medication for another cat owner. We make sure we have supplies in my car as well as at The Cat House and at my home. It is rewarding to help people with various over the counter medications. Stop by if you have 1/2 hour to spare to visit our 10 residents. They LOVE visitors!

THANK YOU to Ann, one of our faithful volunteers, to offer to sponsor Colston with his thyroid meds/food. He goes back to the vet at the end of August to check his thyroid levels, so anyone who wants to join Ann in sponsorship, Colston would be grateful. He has been the official greeter at The Cat House since Jan 2015. He loves his job and waits for visitors as do the other 9 residents. Thank you to anyone who helps any animal in any way!

P.S. Colston is the kitty on our page "smelling" an artificial rose. King Tut (over the Rainbow Bridge) is the black and white kitty whose photo is the profile photo of The Cat House.

Colston is eating his special food for hyperthyroidism. He is not fond of the medication that is specially made to rub on his inner ear, but it is a better option than pills. Stop in to visit him and the others whenever you can!

We simply must find this boy a place to land permanently. With us since October, we cannot stand to think about him hitting his one year mark. This boy is amazing. Would we say that about all of our adoptables, yeh, probably but he really is. He's loving, quirky, playful, good with other cats, good with dogs, good with cats, laid back..the list goes on and on. He really is incredible.

Estimated to be 3-4 years old
Neutered
Fully vetted
FLV/FIV negative
Microchipped

You can meet him at Pet Supplies Plus Westerville during store open hours. Let's make it our mission to get him in a furever home by 9/1 before his 1 year mark hits. SHARE SHARE SHARE

Luna really needs a home of her own again. She was returned after 3 years and she just cannot adjust to so many cats being around. She seems to be getting more and more depressed. She has started over grooming her belly and it is blood red. Now she has started on her back and sides. The person that returned her has never once checked on her. That’s just sad. Hoping someone will give this beauty another chance at a home of her own.

Our Story

A cat/kitten adoption assistance for anyone looking for a furever INDOOR cat/kitten. We network with rescues, shelters, and the public. We also help with over the counter flea and worm meds if you need them for a kitty you rescued. We will provide a list of low cost spay/neuter programs in this area. Please consider rescuing a kitty off the streets or adopting from a shelter or rescue group. So many are dreaming of their furever home and will shower you with so much love and gratitude. We have some furever residents at our facility to greet you if you bring a cat or kitten for the above mentioned services. If you save one cat or kitten from homelessness, you have made a big difference for that cat or kitten. Together, we all can make this a better world by showing compassion to animals and giving a home to one trying to survive out on the streets. Maybe, someday we will see a reduction in the need of shelters and rescues and the end to the killing of innocent animals due to lack of space in shelters and not enough homes...spread the word far and wide. Don’t breed or buy while homeless pets die!!!
