Poplar Hill Stables Boutique Hunter Jumper barn Poplar Hill Stables is a full service Hunter, Jumper, and Equitation facility conveniently located on the edge of Poolesville, MD.

We focus on creating a family friendly atmosphere where fun and learning are key elements to success. We offer boarding, lessons on your horse or ours, horse showing at local schooling series all the way through the AA circuit. We are also available to assist in training and sales.

Alexandra Jadovich piloted Luxiapina through great rounds and ribbons in the 1.25m and 1.15m taking đŸ„ˆ

Rachel Jones was champion on Midnight Blue in the USHJA 2’, winning đŸ„‡ in two over fences.

Carey DeLuca and Que Fantastico entered their first Am National derby and pinned an impressive 6th out of a competitive class. They also had great rounds and ribbons in the low adult hunters, including two đŸ„ˆover fences. Que Fantastico also won both schooling Hunter classes with Alexandra Jadovich. đŸ„‡

Edyta Malik-Corydon had great rounds and ribbons all weekend including a đŸ„‰ over fences in the 3’ adult amateur and a 7th in the derby.

Irelyn McCarty had a fantastic weekend on her ponies, Midnight Blue and Popcorn, with great rounds and ribbons in the children’s pony and the derby taking 9th! This was Irelyn’s first show on her new pony Popcorn, and we can’t wait for what’s in store for them.

Kathryn Bernard piloted Champus A to a đŸ„‰ place in the .80m jumpers.

Tatum Safa had a great weekend on Chin Up and Ride With Me. Chin Up was champion in the .70m jumpers and Ride With Me had great rounds and ribbons in the children’s pony taking đŸ„ˆ in the hack and đŸ„‰ over fences.

We had a great time the past two Saturdays prepping for the spring season at Swan Lake’s local shows!

🏆 Lucky Devil, owned by Midnight Rose Stables and shown by Rachel Jones, stepped up to the 2’3” division—winning a class and finishing Reserve Champion in the division.

🏆 Left For Denver, owned and shown by Michala Nathlar, had fabulous rounds in the 2’3” Schooling Hunters last weekend, bringing home great ribbons. This week, they stepped into the jumper ring with fantastic trips in the .70m and .80m jumpers!

🏆 Pitch Perfect, owned and shown by Carrie Hyde-Michaels, finished Reserve Champion in the Modified Hunter division and Champion in the Novice Equitation. The pair also secured Reserve Champion for the winter series in Novice Equitation—with only two shows!

🏆 Femme Fatale, leased and shown by Adelaide Lopez, had a great first show—finishing Champion in the Modified Hunters and Reserve Champion in the Novice Equitation.

🏆 Little Miss Nanette, owned by Midnight Rose Stables and shown by Rachel Jones, had great rounds in the Modified Hunters, earning some nice ribbons.

🏆 Luxiapina, owned by Josh Eggink and shown by Alexandra Jadovich, had some fun schooling rounds—winning the 1.10m and finishing 3rd in the 1.20m.
