We had a great time the past two Saturdays prepping for the spring season at Swan Lake’s local shows!

🏆 Lucky Devil, owned by Midnight Rose Stables and shown by Rachel Jones, stepped up to the 2’3” division—winning a class and finishing Reserve Champion in the division.

🏆 Left For Denver, owned and shown by Michala Nathlar, had fabulous rounds in the 2’3” Schooling Hunters last weekend, bringing home great ribbons. This week, they stepped into the jumper ring with fantastic trips in the .70m and .80m jumpers!

🏆 Pitch Perfect, owned and shown by Carrie Hyde-Michaels, finished Reserve Champion in the Modified Hunter division and Champion in the Novice Equitation. The pair also secured Reserve Champion for the winter series in Novice Equitation—with only two shows!

🏆 Femme Fatale, leased and shown by Adelaide Lopez, had a great first show—finishing Champion in the Modified Hunters and Reserve Champion in the Novice Equitation.

🏆 Little Miss Nanette, owned by Midnight Rose Stables and shown by Rachel Jones, had great rounds in the Modified Hunters, earning some nice ribbons.

🏆 Luxiapina, owned by Josh Eggink and shown by Alexandra Jadovich, had some fun schooling rounds—winning the 1.10m and finishing 3rd in the 1.20m.

It's hard to believe our Florida season is wrapping up! We've had a blast at and , and everyone’s hard work has really paid off. We're looking forward to continuing to grow and improve. Interested in joining us? Poplar Hill has a few spots left for boarders and lesson students.

Exciting news! Poplar Hill Stables has two show stalls opening mid-December. Whether you’re joining us in Florida for the winter circuit or gearing up at home for a strong spring season, we’d love to welcome you.

Located in Poolesville, MD, Poplar Hill Stables is a boutique hunter/jumper program offering large stalls, an indoor, a spacious outdoor ring, and a temperature-controlled lounge. We show both locally and at rated competitions, with a supportive team of kids, juniors, and adult amateurs. Come train, show, and thrive with us.
