What a fantastic weekend it was for all the girls! We finally enjoyed nice weather for the first time this year and enjoyed showing outside!!!

✨ **Highlights** ⭐️✨

- **Kenai and Eliza Strickler**: Champion in the combined Jr/AO division. They finished the weekend 4th in the USHJA National Derby.

- **Silvio’s Sweet Secret and Quinn Polly Reader**: Had an outstanding weekend, winning 3 out of 4 classes in the younger children’s hunter division and also clinching the classic with double scores in the 80s. Quinn also competed in the USHJA National Derby, finishing 7th.

- **Optimus Prime and Maddie Fisher**:
Finished 3rd across the board in the .60m and secured 3rd place in their .70m round!

_** Northern Star and Laila Theurer**
Joined us for just the derby this weekend finishing 9th with an unlucky rail in the handy round!!

- Joining us for the weekend,
**Scarlett Mortenson and Cherrybrook Gold Rush** had an incredible performance, finishing champion in the combined green ponies by winning 3 out of 4 classes and taking 2nd in the classic!!!

Despite the wild weather this week, the C Stars Girls powered through and made it to the Mcdongh Winter Classic 3! With all the horses arriving fresh off the truck and trailer, both the girls and their mounts were absolutely incredible!

✨✨✨✨ Highlights ✨✨✨✨

⭐️Eliza Strickler and Kenai maintained their winning streak, clinching the Champion title in the 3’3 Older Junior Hunters by winning 2 out of 3 over-fences classes.

⭐️Laila Theurer and Northern Star had a fantastic performance:
- 🥇 MHSA on the flat
- 🥇 Maclay
- 🥈 MHSA Hunt Seat 3’3
- 🥉 NHS Medal

⭐️Quinn Polly-Reader and Silvio’s Sweet Secret earned a 🥈 in the Children’s Hunter Flat and finished in the top half in every trip, also placing 7th in the Combined Adult/Children’s Classic.

⭐️Scarlett Fritz and Confetti
put in outstanding rounds in the Small/Large Regular Ponies, finishing with 🥈🥉🥉. Scarlett also secured 4th place in the USEF Pony Medal. 🏅

**Congratulations to all three girls who showcased their talent at the Swan Lake Horse Show this weekend! A special shoutout to Bill for his exceptional hosting.

**Highlights:**
- **Kenai and Courtney Morton**:
2’6” USHJA Reserve Champion
- **Kenai and Eliza Strickler**: Champion in the 3’3 Junior Hunters, winning 4 out of 5 classes.
- **Silvio’s Sweet Secret and Quinn PollyReader**: Secured 2nd place in the THIS Medal and earned impressive ribbons in the Combined Children’s Hunters.

**Wrapping up our weekend,** Confetti and Scarlett Fritz were Reserve Champions in the Combined Large/Small Regular Ponies, qualifying them for the Pony Finals 2026!

🎄MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM THE MIDWEST🎅

We spent the past week at the World Equestrian Center for the Christmas show, and what a fantastic time it was! All the girls rode amazingly, as always. The venue speaks for itself, especially with the beautiful Christmas decorations. It’s a delight to enjoy the consistent 70 degrees and escape the cold for a week!

✨ **HIGHLIGHTS** ✨
🎄 Eliza Strickler and Laila Theurer took top honors in the Ugly Christmas Sweater Derby.
🎄 Laila Theurer and Northern Star earned great ribbons in the 3’6” equitation, even snagging a 10th place finish in the national derby.
🎄 Eliza Strickler and Kenai had excellent rounds in the junior hunters, Eliza and Kiki also finished 12th in the national derby.
🎄 Emma Illig and Star Attraction earned great ribbons in the Adult Equitation, 2nd and 4th places, they also stood out in a large adult hunter section, securing 2nd, 3rd, and more great ribbons.
🎄 Quinn Polly-Reeder and Silvio’s Sweet Secret delivered outstanding rounds all week in the 11-14 equitation, earning two 2nd places and a 3rd. They also competed in the younger children’s, bringing home great ribbons.
🎄 Addison Corbett and Mako Miss put in clean rounds all week in the .70s, stepping up to the .90s this week and finishing 12th in the classic out of 38.
🎄 Madi Fisher and Optimus Prime had a stellar week, achieving a clean round in the .80s and earning a blue ribbon! Still some baby moments for prime, madi rode amazing through it all.
🎄 Scarlett Fritz and Confetti put in outstanding rounds this week, earning 5th in the pony derby with a handy score of 83! Scarlett also competed in the small ponies, bringing home several great ribbons, including two 2nd places.

After a late night, the Washington International Horse Show 2025 is officially a wrap! I’m incredibly proud of Quinn and Scarlett; both girls did an amazing job in their first-ever appearances at WIHS.

Stardust and Quinn Polly-Reeder finished 6th, while Confetti and Scarlett Fritz placed 10th. Fantastic work, ladies!

Congratulations to all the girls who participated in the WIHS Regional this weekend! The talent displayed by both the horses and riders was truly remarkable!

Champions of the Gittings Finals 2025!

- Confetti and Scarlett Fritz:
Finished 5th and 7th in the Small Locals, qualifying for the Washington International Horse Show!

- Stardust and Quinn Polly-Reeder:
Secured 5th place in the second over fences in a highly competitive Medium Pony section, also qualifying for the Washington International Horse Show!

- Star Attraction and Emma Illig:
Delivered beautiful rounds in the Low Children’s Hunter, making the callback for the flat out of 33 horses!

-Silvio’s Sweet Secret and Quinn Polly-Reeder: Qualified for the Zone 3 Finals, earning ribbons in every class, including a 4th on the flat!

What a fantastic Pedimont Jumper Classic! All three girls rode incredibly well. I must say, this was one of the best-run horse shows I've attended in a while—everything was on schedule, if not early. A big shout-out to the show management for their excellent work! Congratulations to all the girls for their hard work; we definitely have some homework to do, but that’s what horse shows are all about—learning.

2025 Pony Finals….that’s a wrap!!!
The girls had an amazing time in Kentucky with it being theirs and their ponies first time. They did amazing. Super proud of Quinn and Scarlett. Couldnt have asked for harder working kids!!!
