How the city's water change affects you.
From Nov 2 to Nov 30, expect higher chlorine, sediment, and off-color water from the tap in Pompano Beach.
Water sales: no change. We've prepared for this. RO/DI and pre-mixed saltwater are available every day we're open, tested before it goes in your container. Planning to stock up more than usual? Call the shop ahead so we can have it ready.
Maintenance and service: no change to your schedule. All water used on service visits is our own tested RO/DI and saltwater. If anything ever has to shift, you'll hear directly from us first.

City of Pompano Beach water notice.
From Monday, November 2 through Monday, November 30, the city is switching its water disinfection from chloramines to free chlorine and flushing fire hydrants. You may notice a slight change in taste and smell, and some temporarily discolored water. If that happens, run your faucets until it clears.
It is recommended that fish tank and pond owners consult with an aquarium professional about their water treatment during this period. Swipe for the details, and see our next post for how Reef's Edge is handling it
