Jupiter and Nugget gave us another double dilute!!! 3 for 3, although this is a c**t and appears to be HZ splash. Obviously hard to see markings in the photos but in person, he’s got a lot of white. He has full hearing as well!! He had a bit of a rough start, born much too quickly. We ended up milking Jupiter to get colostrum in him and then went to work using the Madigan squeeze technique as he appeared to have “dummy foal syndrome”…. Worked like a charm and he was nursing on his own shortly after! I’m not made for “all nighters” anymore!!!! We’ll see how he matures, haven’t decided if he’ll be available. His 2yr old sister is a big, strong filly and we’re hoping he’ll be the same!! He’s 2 weeks old now and thriving!!!

Once again, I’m behind on foaling announcements…. In all fairness, we had 3 in one day so 🤷🏼‍♀️ Taffy had a gold cream dun filly “Winter” by Lux, Sparkle had a black filly by Elvis, “Vegas” and Mouse had a huge dunalino filly by Lux who were are calling “Zazou” …. Oh, and maybe I didn’t announce Mariposa’s filly by Elvis, black splash, most likely HZ splash “Freya” been a busy, busy few days!!! I’ll put up individual posts for them soon!!
