Had a great time at Fleet Farm’s Dog Day with Anna from Fleet Farm Stevens Point! It was exciting seeing so many dogs! There were free giveaways to dog owners plus a lot of educational materials.

The shelter-assigned names are Little Bear ID # 28038, Lazlo ID # 28039, Kipper ID # 28040, and Corduroy ID # 28041.

Executive Director Sherri Galle-Teske and HSPC volunteer Robert will be at Fleet Farm Stevens Point today, Saturday June 6, 9AM to noon.
Hope you'll bring your dog out for a fun outing today. Fleet Farm has planned an exciting morning for the dogs!

Fleet Farm has events throughout the year. Hunting and fishing seminars for adults and kids, Spring & Fall Lambeau Sports Show, and other related events.

NEWLY ADOPTABLE - SQUEAKERS!
An excerpt from her profile says "Squeakers is a quiet, shy gal who is looking for a home with lots of room so she can practice walking with only three legs! Squeakers came to us with an injury that required amputation of one of her front legs. Despite this, she is adapting well and is ready for a home with lots of love to give! Squeakers enjoys treats, and laying on the softest, snuggliest blankets that she can find."

06/05/26 His family says "We decided to change his name to Puma. We’ve loved having him so much already. He has really come out of his shell and become a lot more comfortable in our space. He’s very social, talkative, and playful with my girlfriend and I in particular but greets anyone who comes over right away. We’re so happy we were able to give this sweet baby a home!❤️”

NEWLY ADOPTABLE - MONTE!
An excerpt from his profile says "Monte is an adorable senior who loves dogs and people. He came from a neglectful situation and now would like the opportunity to enjoy life and his golden years. Monte loves laying in the grass basking in the sun. But his favorite place to sleep is in your bed! He likes to play and run around the yard, his favorite game is chasing after you, a bit of slow motion on his part. Monte will let you know when he needs to go outside but being a bit elderly, he might have a little leak on the way. Monte is looking for a calm home with lots of love and gentle care. We do not know if he has ever been around children so older teens should be ok for him. A gentle calm dog would be a good companion for him. A cat might also be OK. Monty weighs 50 #"
