He had the privilege of attending Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine and graduated as class salutatorian in 1990. He founded the Old Country Animal Clinic in 1995. He is a Diplomate of The American Board of Veterinary Practitioners and specializes in Avian medicine and surgery.

Using cutting edge technology to help our avian cancer patients. Dr Amy Knollinger is a board certified veterinary ophthalmologist and traveled all the way from Utah to NY to help us perform photodynamic light therapy on an avian patient with squamous cell carcinoma of the wing. Animals often develop tumors of the eye and eyelids so that is why an ophthalmologist is the best to perform this procedure. Special thanks to Dr LaCroix
