Paws Pet Adoption of Plainview Paws Pet Adoption is an animal rescue in Plainview, TX. Paws is committed to helping unwanted pets. We are run primarily by volunteers.

Pet adoption fees
Locally:$125-150 for dogs
$60.00 for cats
The fee includes spay/neuter (required!) and rabies shot. Out-of-state: Varies
Depending on vetting requirements, health certificate, and transport cost. Donations are always needed:

Another life saved!
I saw little Gigi at LAS on Saturday - she had just come in. She was found in the middle of the street, her little nails were all muddy, she was shaking.

This girl is 10-12 years old! 😠 Sure glad some irresponsible owner didn’t reclaim her.

She is now on her way up here, will spend time in foster, then maybe go to the dedicated Chi-lover we know who loves older dogs 😀❤️

Look at the ears on that 3rd one - they look like a cap on his head! 😂

Adoption is $150, which includes rabies, spay/neuter, at least one parvo/distemper vac

We help other dogs to safety, but we still don’t forget the long-stays. They are nice dogs in need of the right home - usually as only dogs.

LePew is a super handsome guy. He likes walks, water, and splooting! He enjoys pets from kids and the elderly.

He is approx 5yrs, neutered

Eyeeeee! It never stops! 🤦‍♀️ Long post but this is what we have going on.

Deja, a stray dog we wanted to save and find a good home. During vetting we got the results, heartworm positive ! It’s curable but expensive! Her recent meds and injection , $188.50

Caspian, precious dog with cherry eye which is so painful. No telling how long he had been suffering and Cici, his friend had two mammory tumors that needed surgery to remove them. This is a result of not being spayed and over breeding. Cost for both of their surgeries, $400.95.

Dog food available this weekend and you know we still go thru lots of food. We are currently helping to save about 50 dogs. Cost of food, $225.00.

Our sweet shy bonded brothers Ghost and Axel are still awaiting their forever home. They were picked up in the country at an oil field in Lamesa as pups and are still waiting for someone to come adopt them! They would love to have a family where they can just chill in the backyard or lay around in a home with no cares in the world! If you would like to meet our bonded brothers please contact us!!! There are more requests than current funds allow, however -
HOWEVER -
We anticipate more funds being available starting in September!
We will hold on to any apps submitted and assist as many people as we can.

Pet adoption fees locally:

$150.00 for dogs under 1 year, $125.00 for dogs 1 year plus $60.00 for cats The fee includes, if necessary, spay/neuter (required!) and a rabies shot, Adoption fees are higher out-of-state due to more vetting, need for a health certificate, and transport. We are run primarily by volunteers. You are welcome to join us! Age 16 and over may volunteer unaccompanied. Ages 12-15 need to be accompanied by an adult during volunteer time, and may stay one hour. Please contact us if you are interested! Donations are also needed: Cash - assists with vet care and miscellaneous needs Towels, Bleach, Paper Towels, Dawn Dish Soap, Laundry detergent (for washing those towels!)
