Bichon Rescue of Orange County California is a non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of neglected, abused, or otherwise homeless senior Bichon Frises, bichon mixes, and other small non-shedding breeds, placing them into permanent, stable, and caring forever homes. We believe in the value of our senior citizens as adopters as well as foster and are committed t

o their advocacy and support through our “Seniors for Seniors” focus. We believe in promoting awareness of the need to spay and neuter pets, and of the importance of proper medical, dental, and nutritional care. We believe in cultivating a volunteer spirit in our youth and educating them about the importance of pet advocacy. Senior Dogs:

We believe senior dogs contribute positively to our quality of life and have much to teach us about patience, respect, responsibility, loyalty, and unconditional love. We believe every senior dog deserves to live out their golden years, months, weeks, or even days in a place of love, security, and peace. We believe dogs are not a disposable commodity; rather, they depend on us to care for them through all stages of their lives. We believe in providing educational support, advocacy, and sharing of best practices for those who support senior dogs.

Meet these two precious 4-year-old female Cockapoo mixes who have been together their entire lives. They are truly inseparable—and they’re looking for a family who will love them both, forever. 💕
They sleep together, play together, follow each other everywhere, and even protect one another. 🥹 They are the sweetest little angels you could ever meet! 😇🐶🐶
These girls are quiet, calm, wonderful in the car, great with kids, and good with other dogs. They don’t ask for much—just love, companionship, and each other. ❤️

Salt & Pepper are adorable 3-year-old Bichon/Poodle mix brothers who have been best friends their whole lives — and they’re looking for a forever home together! 🐾🐾

These bonded boys are playful, affectionate, great with other dogs, and love going for car rides. They’re young, happy, full of personality, and always ready for some fun before curling up with their humans at the end of the day. ❤️

They could use a little continued training to polish their manners, but they’re smart, eager to learn, and very treat-motivated!

Home and Happy Update – Piper 💜

Piper, our adorable 9-month-old, 6-pound purebred Bichon Frise puppy, came to BROC as a tiny bundle of joy with lots of energy, love, and personality. She adored walks, meeting new people and pups, playtime, and of course curling up for cuddles after all her puppy adventures.

Because Piper thrives with canine companionship, we knew her forever home needed to include another pup—and we are so happy to share that she found exactly that with the Pease family!

Piper now has a new furry best friend named Finn, plus grandkids who come over to play and keep both pups entertained. It sounds like the perfect home for this playful little girl, with plenty of love, activity, and companionship.

A huge thank you to Piper’s foster family and everyone who helped her along the way.

Meet Daisy and Lily, two adorable four-year-old Cockapoos sisters who are looking for their forever home together! 💕 These sweet girls are a bonded pair, and they truly belong side by side.
Both girls are incredibly affectionate and love nothing more than being close to their people. 🥰 Give them a spot next to you on the couch, lots of pets, belly rubs, and attention, and they’re in heaven! The more love, the better!

💙 From surviving... to finally belonging. Meet Brodie. 💙
For five long years, little Brodie spent his life outside with no shelter, trying to survive the heat all alone. Thankfully, BROC stepped in, and now this precious 12-pound Havanese is safe.
What amazes us most is that despite everything he's been through, Brodie is pure love.
He's housebroken, calm, quiet, and happiest when he's taking a walk, rolling in the grass, or snuggled up beside his favorite person. All he wants is a family to love—and someone to love him back.
Let's make sure Brodie never has to spend another day wondering if he's wanted.
