Bichon Rescue of Orange County (BROC) is looking for a volunteer Bookkeeper.

Do you have experience with QuickBooks and a passion for helping animals?

🐾 Responsibilities may include:
• Recording donations and expenses
• Reconciling bank accounts
• Maintaining accurate bookkeeping records in QuickBooks

🐾 Ideal Volunteer:
• Experience with QuickBooks
• Reliable and organized
• Able to dedicate a few hours each month

Your skills can make a direct impact on the lives of rescue dogs and help ensure BROC remains a strong and sustainable organization.

Home and Happy Update – Pippin 💗

Pippin, our adorable 4-year-old, 9-pound Maltese mix, captured hearts with her sweet, loving personality. This smart and affectionate little girl brought so much joy to her foster family and everyone she met. Gentle, loving, and full of charm, Pippin was always ready for cuddles and companionship.

We are delighted to share that Pippin has found her forever home with Bill and Dottie Phillips! We couldn't be happier for this precious girl as she begins her next chapter with a family who already adores her.

A huge thank you to her foster family for loving and caring for Pippin while she waited for her perfect match, and to everyone who supported her journey to happily ever after.

Meet Bouncy Mochi!
Hello, big world! My name is Bouncy Mochi, and I'm the cutest little 4-year-old Maltese you'll ever meet!

I'm a happy-go-lucky guy with a big smile on my face and a tail that never seems to stop wagging. I absolutely love going for walks—especially long ones. The longer the walk, the happier I am! I have lots of energy, but it's the fun kind that keeps life exciting and full of joy.

I'm a friendly little fellow who gets along well with other dogs and does great with gentle children. Everywhere I go, I bring smiles and happiness to the people around me. My foster family says I have a special way of making every day brighter.

Now I'm looking for a forever family that will love me as much as I'll love them. Could that be you?

We are trying to save three darling little white fluffs from the Van Nuys shelter and urgently need help with transportation! 🐶🤍

We are looking for anyone who may be able to help transport: ✨ Two pups — or even just one pup 📍 From Van Nuys Shelter 📍 To Yorba Linda. Time is critical and we would be so grateful for any assistance!

💛 DONATIONS ALSO NEEDED 💛 If you are unable to transport, please consider donating to help cover transportation and gas costs. Every dollar helps us get these pups to safety and into loving care.

Home and Happy Update – Chico 💙

Chico, our 10-pound Bichon Frise mix, quickly won everyone over with his sweet, gentle nature. At nine years young, this smart and affectionate boy proved that age is just a number! He loved his walks, enjoyed meeting other pups and humans, and was happiest simply hanging out with his people. A true gentleman, Chico was well-mannered in the home, not much of a barker, and always ready for cuddles.

We are so happy to share that Chico has been adopted by the Columbaro family!

A heartfelt thank you to his foster family for giving him the love and care he deserved, and to everyone who helped him along the way. Seeing Chico find such a wonderful forever home is what makes it all worthwhile.
