Chomper is an adorable 9 month old Rottweiler, who came to see us today for a wellness exam and a refill on his flea/tick/heartworm prevention.
Everyone in the hospital was smitten 🥰 with this certified best friend and cutie pie.

Recently, our very own Dr. Moreno volunteered her time to Riverside County Animal Services, where she spayed and neutered dozens of cats and dogs. She had a rewarding experience performing surgeries and collaborating with the shelter staff. If you are looking to adopt a new pet that is already spayed or neutered, consider reaching out to Riverside County.

Meet our new Medical Director, Dr. Zach Houghtaling! Originally from Seattle, Dr. Houghtaling earned his undergraduate degree in Aquatic and Fishery Sciences from the University of Washington, gaining hands on experience with harbor seals, bald eagles, raccoons and more. He went on to earn his DVM from Washington State University, where he developed a strong interest in small animal medicine-especially dentistry and the business side of veterinary care.
Dr. Houghtaling began his career on Oahu, Hawaii, where he practiced general medicine, urgent care and advanced dental procedures. His time there deepened his passion for delivering high quality, compassionate care.
He enjoys life with his wife, Priya and their two cats, Shasta and Bindi. He’s a fan of the Seattle Seahawks and enjoys sports, drumming, cooking, riding motorcycles and gaming.
