District Dawgs

Dog walking & visits for dogs of the Strip District. ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS

10/28/2026

Shoutout to my (1 paid and 2 unpaid) employees 🏆

The extra sets of leash holding hands has been incredibly helpful to me, and triple the love for the dawgs.

Thank you to Antonio, Linda, & Bill (my parents)- this job is even more fun with a little human team 🫶

A giant dog wearing a raincoat walks into a bookstore and orders himself some ice cream 🍦

Thank you Posman Books for turning a gloomy day into a fun adventure. I have a feeling Franklin will be back 🐾

This particular rain coat is sold out, but another client recommended option from The Foggy Dog is linked here

New kids on the block 🗣️ You may have noticed some new faces on stories, so I wanted to formally introduce the newest members of the Dawg squad: Dolce, Harper & Maci, and Bentley! Be sure to say hello if you see them in the neighborhood.

*As Antonio gets acclimated, we can begin opening up walk times for more new clients as well 🤞 stay tuned!

Let’s hear it for Antonio 👏

Our newest dog walker is joining us with experience, compassion and enthusiasm. He’s volunteered his time walking shelter dogs at the Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh — equipping him with a stocked toolkit for handling dogs of various sizes, breeds, and temperaments.

He’s excited to lace up and hit the streets of the Strip. If you see him out, make sure to say hi!! 🦮🐾

Thank you, Jasmine, for sharing your dad with us!

Really difficult news to share: Waffle (of Waffle & Maple), has made her way to the good place 🌈❤️

Among many things, Waffle was a big sister, a daddy’s girl, and a pillar of the District Dawgs family. She was relentless and unwavering with her love, and will be missed, loved, and talked about for ever.

You keep Ollie company up there and we’ll keep Maple company down here- deal?

Take it easy, sweet girl 🤍

These faces have brought me so much comfort and light during a tough time. Maybe they’ll help you too 💛

Vacation season ☀️☀️

Regular clients, please make sure your calendars are marked for the above dates and that other arrangements have been made 🫶

I also have a few openings for one-off walks (not regular basis) in June & July, and a couple weekends open for overnights. Swipe for those dates and reach out if you want to get something scheduled!

Finley spent the weekend with me 🤍

But not just any weekend… her parents’ wedding weekend! 👩🏻‍❤️‍👨🏻👰🏻‍♀️🤵🏻‍♂️🐩💒💍

Of course we had to pop in to say hi and let the photographer get some family shots 📸

Finley was such a sweet house guest. I hope her parents get married more often. Congrats to the happy family 🤍

Happy birthday, Clementine 🧡🧡

You are effortlessly iconic, unapologetically on your own time, and undeniably sweet. I treasure our weekly adventures.

I hope mom and dad take you into every store front on Butler St today 🍦
