Today we’re celebrating the unforgettable Goblin Girl 🌻🐾 — a beloved TPWC pup, even before TPWC existed, who left a big mark on everyone who met her.

Goblin was a past pawTree pup who loved hiking, swimming, meeting people, and doing therapy dog work. She had an extensive wardrobe, a big personality, and a talent for stealing hearts everywhere she went.

Despite being named after a sinister creature, Goblin was one of the most loving souls you could imagine.

She also happened to be one of my most enthusiastic supporters — faithfully enjoying pawTree favorites like Bladder Support, Chillax, Aches Away, treats, seasonings, and the Chillax Bone. And at events? She was absolutely my #1 stalker. 🤣

Goblin’s costumes even earned her national attention and a local magazine cover — including her famous Ft. Pitt Bridge costume.

Some dogs leave paw prints that never fade.
Goblin was definitely one of those dogs. 💛🐾

Meet new TPWC Pack members Diesel & Dega 🐾

These two beautiful pups belong to Jen, who is starting Diesel on ImmunoShroom to help support him during his cancer journey.

Diesel has been bravely facing treatments for the past several months, and through it all he’s remained the sweetest, most patient boy — even calmly hopping onto the scale at the vet like the most perfect little patient.

His sister Dega keeps life lively as the proud diva of the household, always ready to play, protect her family, and start the day with a toy in her mouth.

Dogs like Diesel and Dega remind us why we love what we do — their loyalty, joy, and quiet strength make every day better.

Jen, thank you for sharing your beautiful pups with us. We're all rooting for you, Diesel. ❤️🐾

🐾 Newest Members of the TPWC Pack

Meet Archie and Theodore!

Archie loves long walks, trips to the dog park, and soaking up all the belly rubs he can get.

Theodore’s favorite things include chin scratches, sitting in the window to enjoy some fresh air, and — according to Leah — eating. Lots of eating. 😄

Their mom Leah recently joined the TPWC Pack and picked up some pawTree Plaque Control to support their dental health (plus p**p bags to keep up with all those Archie walks!).

Welcome to the pack, Archie and Theodore! 🐾

🐾 We’re LIVE at the Pittsburgh Home & Garden Show!

Come visit me at Booth #2114 on the second level at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in downtown Pittsburgh.

I’ll be there throughout the show helping pet parents learn about better nutrition, holistic wellness, and simple ways to help pets thrive. We're giving away 3 Daily Duo sets over the course of the event, and the earlier you get in, the more drawings you're in!!

The show runs through Sunday, March 15, with varying daily hours.

What a great pairing!

What a great pairing!

You don’t expect a traffic ticket story to make you tear up, but this one might.

A police department tried something different to help shelter cats get fed. Instead of making everyone pay a fine in cash, they let people cover certain tickets by donating cat food and other much-needed supplies.

In the confirmed version of this story, the Muncie Police Department in Indiana teamed up with Muncie Animal Care and Services when the shelter was overwhelmed with hundreds of cats and kittens. For a short window, people could bring in supplies worth the amount of their parking ticket, and the ticket would be cleared.

And here’s the part that gets me.

A lot of people showed up who didn’t even have tickets. They just wanted to help.

That’s what makes it hit so hard. A simple swap turned something stressful into something that actually mattered to living, breathing little animals waiting for a warm bed and a full bowl.

It’s easy to feel like the world is stuck in “pay up and move on.” But every once in a while, someone finds a way to turn a rule into a rescue.

If your local shelter is struggling, even one small bag of food can mean comfort tonight for a cat who has already had a rough day.

Heads up if your pet was microchipped and registered to Save This Life, dogs you know that they went out of business last year and took all their registries with them!?!

The good news is, you can re-register your pet's microchip for free with most companies... but until you do, if you're pet gets lost, their chip will scam as unregistered... which means the rescue, shelter, police, etc who finds your pet has no way of knowing who you are, who your pet is, or how to reach you!!
