Goodmorningg!!
The 4th of July is here—and while we humans love the festivities, it can be a stressful time for our furry family members.
To help you and your pup have a safe and stress-free holiday, here are our top tips for keeping dogs calm during fireworks:
🐾 Create a Safe Space Indoors
Set up a quiet, cozy area inside your home where your dog can retreat. Use a crate or a small room with their favorite toys and bedding.
🔊 Drown Out the Noise
Turn on calming music, the TV, or a white noise machine to help mask the sound of fireworks.
🚪 Secure Doors & Windows
Fireworks can cause dogs to panic and bolt. Double-check that doors, windows, and fences are secure before the festivities begin.
🐶 Keep Them Occupied
Offer a long-lasting chew, food puzzle, or special treat to distract your pup during noisy moments.
💊 Talk to Your Vet if Needed
If your dog has severe anxiety, ask your veterinarian about medications or supplements that can help.
🚫 Avoid Bringing Dogs to Fireworks Shows
As tempting as it is to include them in the fun, the safest place for your dog is at home in their comfort zone.
Your pet’s safety is our priority—and we’re always here to help with grooming and advice to keep them healthy and happy!
Have a safe and wonderful 4th of July! 🇺🇸
