We had a pretty good past couple weekends. Emma picked up her 3 competition wins and 100 points to gain her Champion Title in UKC.

I'm so humbled by all the compliments I have received about her. She's definitely a fine wine and I'm very excited to see what she does in the future.

This is something that I don't normally share. "The ugly duckling"
Most of the older American Bully Breeders know this stage all to well. The stage where your Am. Bully looks like a "pitbull".
New breeders make jokes about dogs that are this age. They call them reindeer and an assortment of other names. The "new" Am. Bully may never see a "lanky" stage. Some people choose to overfeed and put unnecessary weight on a dog that will put them at risk for joint/overall health issues.
I have people ask me frequently and I see posts daily of people asking what to feed their dog to "make it more bully". You can't feed a doberman the right food to make it a rottweiler. Your dog will either have it or it won't.
If you have this type of bully you just have to be patient and give the dog time to grow. If you have the newer bloodlines of bully then you need to be cautious of the activities It's involved in and be careful not to overfeed because it "will" affect joints and health. You wouldn't feed your kids boxes of Twinkies just to "fatten them up".
