Educational Material - We had a visit from the USDA yesterday. Apparently, they allowed us to import a couple of plants, Hygrophilia Polysperma and Hygrophilia Polysperma Broad leaf that are prohibited for import and sale. We are permitted to import the Hygrophilia genus and it does not tell us we cannot import this species, they were just supposed to catch it at the incoming inspection. It is an invasive species and can devastate local flora.
They seized what we had left and we are contacting the people who purchased this plant and asking them to return it, so the USDA can pick it up and destroy it properly. Please do not throw it away yourself. Obviously, it is not an issue in the aquariums, but they are concerned that it will eventually be thrown away in the garbage and then could cause an issue.
They were very nice about the whole thing and apologetic for the mistake. We just thought our followers would be interested in learning about this issue. Let us know if you have any questions.

Many of you have probably seen our large 90P showcase tank that Maddie scaped. We use the first iteration as our page photo.

This is a video of her scaping the second iteration, which has grown in very nicely. I will add some newer photos in the comments. Took us a while to get this video posted, but better late than never.

Harvey and Tim are actually delivering it to a new home this morning. Can't wait to see what we do next.

One week until the event. 🎉🎈🎉It is this Sunday Night at 6 PM. A great event to spend some time with a friend or partner and build a beautiful paludarium together. Or, just come by yourself and meet others with similar interests. Everyone has a great time.

New Plant Order Announcement 🌿🌱🪴

Welcome to our latest plant order! This may be our best plant order ever. While it may not be our largest, it includes over 1000 plants and features 17 species that we have never had before.
