We decided to put it to the test! We engraved the same Bigfoot design on slate coasters with different clear-enamel treatments and compared the results side by side.

And yeah… there’s definitely a difference. 👀

Honestly, that number is a little hard for us to wrap our heads around.

What started as Tina and me simply sharing our woodworking projects, mistakes, experiments, ideas, and a little bit of our everyday life has grown into something we never could have imagined when we first started this channel.

Every single view, comment, like, share, subscription, and word of encouragement has helped Raney Ridge Woodworking & More become what it is today.

Some of you have been with us for a long time. Some of you may have just found us recently. Either way, we are incredibly grateful that you chose to spend a little bit of your time with us.

From an idea to a one-of-a-kind mantle clock! 🦌🕰️

Tina engraved the deer design into the wood, filled the engraving with epoxy to really make it stand out, then routed out the space for the clock movement.

We thought this would make a pretty cool mantle clock, and I’d say it turned out even better than we pictured! There’s just something about combining wood, engraving, epoxy, and a little creativity that makes a project like this come to life.

Ever look at a chunk of cedar and think, “Yep… that needs to spin”? 🤣🪵

In this one, we take a cedar cookie and turn it into a finished Lazy Susan! Projects like this are exactly why we love woodworking. You can start with a simple piece of wood and, with a little work and a few ideas, end up with something completely different and actually useful.

Getting a little Mustang spirit ready for the laser! 🔥🐴

Watching this McDonald County Mustangs design burn into the wood never gets old. We’ve been working on some new coaster designs for the upcoming craft show at McDonald County High School, and I think these are going to look pretty sharp when they’re finished!

🍂 We’re all set up at the Pumpkin Patch Craft Show! 🎃

Come take a quick walk around the Raney Ridge Woodworking & More booth with us! We brought a whole mix of handmade goodies, including laser-engraved coasters, woodworking projects, resin pieces, fall items, and plenty more.

If you’re around Bella Vista, Arkansas, come see us at the Pumpkin Patch Craft Show at United Lutheran Church and check everything out in person! 🪵🔥

We love getting these projects out of the shop and onto the table where people can actually pick them up, look them over, and hopefully find something that needs to go home with them. 😁

There’s just something satisfying about watching that finish hit the wood. 😍🪵

This piece was already looking good, but once the finish starts going on, the grain deepens, the colors pop, and the whole design comes to life. That glossy transformation never gets old. 🔥
