We are heartbroken to share the passing of our 15-year-old Arctic Wolf, "Shasta."

Shasta was born in April of 2010 and has been a beloved member of our zoo family, known for her mischievous personality. During her time with us, she inspired countless visitors to learn about Arctic wildlife and the importance of conservation.

Our animal care and veterinary teams provided Shasta with the highest level of care throughout her life and especially in her final days. Though our hearts are shattered, we are grateful for the time we had with her.

We invite our community to join us in remembering Shasta and honoring the role she played in connecting people with nature.

Thank you for your continued support and compassion.
