Today we celebrated Dr. Michele Burk's 30th Anniversary of working at Jacksonville Veterinary Hospital!!!! What an amazing life accomplishment and a testament to her dedication and commitment to Veterinary Medicine and to JVH. It is our privilege to have her share her expertise here for so long! Dr. Burk is not only a wealth of knowledge for her colleagues and clients, but a patient advocate, and a wonderfully compassionate and kind -hearted person in general. While working here full time she has managed to remain a devoted wife and mother. How incredibly admirable! Help us congratulate her and share your experience if you wish! THANK YOU DR. BURK!! 💜

We will be CLOSED on Monday May 26 for Memorial Day to reflect on those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice and have fought for our freedom. We hope you enjoy your time off with pets and family! If your pet needs emergency care please refer to your local veterinary emergency or urgent care center. We will reopen on Tuesday May 27th at 8am.

Not sure where to board your pets while you are away? We still have a few open spots during the holiday weekends and summertime! Pets enjoy a comfortable, clean, safe, climate controlled private space with bedding, toys and food included. Our staff LOVE the animals and know most of them personally! Dogs spend at least 3 individualized sessions outdoors with an animal caretaker to get exercise and play time. We also board cats! Cats enjoy a spearate part of the building in an individual quiet setting. Ask about additional services such as bathing, nails, and any special requests!

*Vaccines must be current in order to board.

Our staff were 🥰 THRILLED 😁 to help with this litter of Boston Terriers today. They will go to their forever homes now but we will continue to get to see them here at JVH!

This brave little boy tore his CCL (similar to an ACL in humans) and is gearing up for orthopedic surgery. He is so sweet and we know he will be in good hands at our local orthopedic referral office! We wish him the best of luck in surgery and will collaborate with the ortho experts to make sure he has a speedy recovery!
