Mikey is our cute little 4 month old cattle dog mix. He came to us with his siblings and is patiently waiting for his turn at a forever home. He has a naturally docked tail, is great with other dogs, and is a bit shy around people, but don’t worry… once he knows you, he will be your lap puppy for life. He loves playing in water, belly rubs, and playing a good game of tag with his fellow puppy fosters. Mikey is a nice size at around 20 pounds and is neutered, current on vaccines, microchipped, and vetted. Don’t miss out on this amazing addition to your family!

Who is looking for the best little husky mix around? Look no further because Yukon is your man! This 4 month old husky mix is amazing! He is very friendly and outgoing. Plays great with other dogs, isn’t a barker and only howls occasionally. He will need continued training to complete his house training and leash skills. He does really well in his crate. He isn’t destructive and is a great size at around 20 pounds. He will likely be a nice size of 40ish pounds full grown. Yukon is neutered, current on vaccines, microchipped, and vetted. Any further required vaccines will be the responsibility of his adopter. His adoption fee is $300. That’s truly a steal for this amazing boy! Reach out to set up a meet and greet.

Ok Cruzaders, we have kittens available for pre-adoption. They are all scheduled to be spayed and neutered soon and will be ready to go home! You don’t want to miss out on this cuteness! We would love to see the black boys Gomez and Zorro stay together. The adoption fee for the kittens is $250
And will include their spay/ neuter, microchip, vetting, and current vaccines based on their age. If you see one of these little dolls and would like to adopt, please contact us and we will set up a meet and greet.

As we approach Father’s Day, and enter into our slow summer season, we have some amazing dogs looking for homes. The dogs and puppies here are current on vaccines, spayed/ neutered, microchipped, and vetted. We are taking up to $200 of the adoption fees of the puppies and dogs posted here. So now through the end of June, the adoption fee of those posted will be $300. This is a great price! The ones posted here range from 10 weeks to 1 year. Happy Saturday Cruzaders! Welcome Suki to the rescue. This little 2 month old shepherd arrived at our partner shelter ASCMV with a broken leg… with the help of I’m Almost Home Animal Rescue (this isn’t the first time we have partnered together to save a life… remember our sweet Bodhi!), she is safe and will be heading to Juarez on Monday. In this day and age of animal welfare, working together is what is going to make good things happen for these dogs. We are so grateful to have so many wonderful people in rescue in our network. Teamwork saved this girl’s life! We will keep you posted on her progress. Donations towards Suki’s care can be made via

‘You know what my life is missing? A tiny furry athlete with absolutely zero regard for personal space?’

Great news. Axel is accepting applications.

Axel is a ~6 month old shepherd mix (husky? maligator? full-time chaos intern?) with big ears, big feelings, and even bigger zoomies. He’s incredibly smart — already knows sit, lay down, walks well on leash, and is currently taking advanced courses in recall and “things humans probably didn’t mean for me to climb on.”

He gets along great with other animals, loves to cuddle, and wants to be involved in literally everything you’re doing at all times. He’s athletic, curious, hilarious, and occasionally discovers his own voice just to make sure everyone else does too. Bonus points: his hiccups are offensively cute.

Axel would thrive with someone active, a yard for his Olympic-level zoomies, and a family that wants a best friend instead of just a dog. He’s neutered, has all his big boy teeth already, and may not get too much bigger — emotionally excluded.
