Ok Cruzaders…. We need help here. Our rescue account is in the red and we have 2 neuters coming up this week, vaccine appointments, and we had to buy dog food. The emergency with Stef cost us a lot and we didn’t get donations to cover it… everything is more expensive and donations and adoptions are down. If we continue this way, I am not in the position to continue to cover the costs of the rescue as I am struggling myself. We will have to make some hard decisions that we really don’t want to have to make. All the boys pictured are available for adoption. These are just 3 of the truly amazing dogs we have in rescue. If you have fundraising ideas, please share them. We have items that can be auctioned, but I can’t handle everything on my own at this point. Hopefully, we will be doing presale soon on our new t-shirt designs that will bring in some good money. We also have lots of items that we will be posting for donations. And if someone is so inclined, we have items to hold an auction.

Meet our next new boy Watson! This pint sized sweet boy is a 4-5 month old shar-pei possibly shepherd or kelpie mix. He has the cutest pointed ears that stand up and he is a gorgeous tricolor. This little boy is shy but sweet. He is currently around 30 pounds. He did great with dog intros today, he’s just a little on the reserved side. If your dog comes in hot, it might take a little extra time. Watson is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and vetted… he is ready and waiting for his family. Please message us to meet Watson.

Join us in welcoming Drake! This gorgeous, smart boy is a 7 month old shepherd mix. He is crate trained and seems to be house trained. He knows sit, shake, and give hugs. He sits and waits for his food. He is super dog friendly… the only thing he doesn’t like? The leash. 🫠 We will be working on that with him, but this cutie should pick it up quickly! Drake is available for adoption. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and vetted. He is also heartworm negative. But most importantly, this guy is a gem! Don’t let him pass you by! I would love to post happy Sunday, but it hasn’t turned out that way. We need help with the unexpected emergency and loss of our sweet girl Stef. She was supposed to be on her way to her forever family and instead joined our other Cruzaders at the rainbow bridge. I was up with her all night and still haven’t slept. She was having severe seizures and even with meds were getting worse not better. The kindest thing to do was let her leave peacefully. If you can help at all with this unexpected expense, we also have to cover cremation. We appreciate you, and please be kind and patient with anything else you might need today as it might have to wait until tomorrow. Hey there Cruzaders! We have cats available at the Petco at Indian Bend and the 101. They are available through our partner rescue! Spoon is a 1yr old male black fluffy Siamese mix. Super friendly! Good with dogs, cats, and kids. Cereal is a 1 year old female seal point Siamese. She is Spoon’s sibling. Also super friendly…. Eos 1 year old domestic short hair. Has been with Cereal and Spoon. Alvin is a 7 year old domestic short hair. His brother Harold is 6 years old and fluffy! Both are good with cats, dogs, and kids. Let’s get these guys into homes!

Sam’s club has cheaper prices on some items we use and they deliver! Dog food is cheaper at Petsmart. We did a store pick up from a donor and it was super easy! These two boys need a new home or foster ASAP. Alvin was adopted in 2019 and the family added Harold in 2020. We helped get him neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Their family is now relocating this week and these boys need a new home whether it is permanent or temporary as of tomorrow. We had them go to the clinic and they got check ups and updated vaccines today. They are dog, cat, and kid friendly. Can anyone give these boys a temporary or permanent home?

Cruzaders, please meet Yukon. This adorable 2.5 month old husky mix is looking for his forever family. While he is initially reserved and shy, give him a few days and he is excited and cuddly and playful. He’s a quiet boy who loves to sleep in his crate cuddled in a mound of blankets he collects. He is neutered, has age appropriate vaccines, is microchipped, and vetted. His adoption fee is $450. Please message us if you would like to add Yukon to your family. He is small at about 10 pounds.
