💔 Four Months Ago, Coco Had a Home. Today, She Has a Deadline. 💔
Coco (A288453) wasn't found abandoned on the streets. She wasn't neglected. She wasn't unwanted.
She was loved.
But in February, tragedy struck when her family lost their home in a fire. Through no fault of her own, Coco lost everything she knew and landed in a shelter.
Now, after months of waiting, this sweet 2-year-old girl is running out of time.
🚨 Coco must leave PCACC by Friday, June 26 at 4:00 PM.
Imagine going from sleeping in your home every night to living in a noisy kennel. Imagine losing your family, your routine, your favorite spot on the couch, and never understanding why.
That's been Coco's reality.
Before the shelter, Coco lived successfully with adults, children, and other dogs. She was housebroken, crate trained, and knew how to be part of a family.
But shelter life has worn her down.
The constant barking, the endless noise, the stress of confinement—it shows. She barks. She circles. She struggles to relax.
Not because she's a bad dog.
Because she's a heartbroken dog.
Yet every person who takes the time to know Coco sees the dog she truly is: sweet, loyal, loving, and desperately wanting a connection.
She loves her walks.
She loves being with people.
And she still has so much love left to give.
Yes, Coco has shown resource guarding with food and will need an adopter willing to understand and manage that behavior. But what she needs most right now is what every dog deserves:
A chance.
