4th of July is one of the most dangerous times of the year for pets. To ensure a safe and enjoyable 4th of July, please remember to:

🫆Make sure your pets wear their identification tags, even when in your home
📸Take a current picture of all your pets in case they escape
🚰Provide plenty of fresh water
♨️Keep pets away from the grill
🍗Do not feed table scraps to your pets, and secure trash and alcohol
🪟Secure all windows
👀Check fences and gates to ensure they are closed, especially if your pets will be out with you and your guests
💬Let your guests know where your pets are and ask them to help keep doors and gates closed
🧨Check on your yard after fireworks so pets don’t get into anything dangerous
