Gabby here! It is with great sadness that I must announce I will be relocating back to Philadelphia at the end of May 2026. While this is sudden, please know that I would never do this if it wasn't sheer necessity. Rest assured, if you have an overnight sit booked after 5/1, and have not yet been contacted, standby as I'm in process of solidifying a dependable replacement. The last client impacted will be notified tomorrow.
Kim, our pop-in expert, is still local and this does **NOT** impact any of her sits. Also, she will still be available for those clients looking for pop-in visits going forward. We also have a few part time employees still available who provide overnights, and I'm more than happy to refer any client to another trusted sitter that we know in the area.
While I am very excited to return to the beautiful city of Philadelphia, it's certainly bittersweet as I will miss all of my caring and loyal clients over the years! I love GA, I was born here, there's so much natural beauty, and think that there's a wonderful and diverse community here in the metro ATL area.
Truth be told, this area has grown far too expensive for our family to be able to stay. Also, lack of social services and/or unreasonable cutoff points for these services, have impacted our need to relocate as well. As a special needs family, we very much depend on adequate services, but as the area grows exponentially, less and less practitioners work with Autistic individuals, few accept insurance any longer, and most have wait lists 6+ months out. We don't only want to survive, but thrive as a family. We will be closer to family, museums, parks etc.. As homeschoolers, this will be HUGE for us!
I very much appreciate your understanding and compassion surrounding this big change! Ideally I would've finished out the year to honor those on the schedule, but after much thought and research, no scenario would allow us to achieve this. Ultimately, I have to take care of my family above all.
Words simply cannot express the gratitude I have for all of you, and how humbling it's been to grow this from a small service to help friends, to a full blown business with over 800 followers! This simply would not have been possible without your loyal support
