Let a greyhound race into your heart... adopt one! www.ngap.org NGAP is an independent, non-profit organization registered in the state of Pennsylvania.

It is a federally designated 501(c)3 corporation. We are funded by adoption fees, fund raising events, car donations and various donations of other kinds. All donations are tax deductible. NGAP has no affiliation with any greyhound track or any other organization and prides itself on being a strong national advocate for greyhounds. We have participated in both national exposes and legislative initiatives to help these 'greyt' dogs. Since the closing of the Florida tracks, we have switched our focus to helping salukis, saluki mixes, wadi dogs and other sighthounds from the Middle East. Thank you for your interest in National Greyhound Adoption Program.

Neutered Male

Meet Shahin!

Shahin is a gorgeous boy with a beautiful, glossy coat and a personality that will capture your heart! He can be a bit reserved at first, but his curiosity often wins out over his fears, and he can’t help but want to see what’s going on around him.

FLYNN
Greyhound
Origin: UK
Size: 78lbs
DOB: 03/19/2021
Neutered Male.
Cats: No cats.
Large Dogs: Friendly
Small Dogs: Unknown

Meet Flynn!

Flynn is a senior gentleman with a tender heart who’s hoping to find someone to call his own. He can be a little shy and nervous when meeting new people, but underneath that uncertainty is a sweet boy who simply wants love and reassurance.

Flynn is a calm, easygoing fellow who would appreciate a peaceful home where he can settle in at his own pace and enjoy the comfort of having someone by his side. Sometimes, all a dog needs is a little patience, a gentle touch, and a person who makes him feel safe.

One thing to know about Flynn is that he can be a bit of a bully with other dogs in the yard, so his canine interactions will need supervision and thoughtful management.

If you have a soft spot for the quieter souls who just need someone to believe in them, Flynn could be the companion you’ve been waiting for. This deserving senior has plenty of love to give to the person willing to give him a chance.

Now, we do need to warn you about one little habit: Andrea is a blanket thief! He has a knack for helping himself to cozy blankets and sometimes he chews them, so he’ll need to be supervised around them. Apparently, toys just aren’t enough when you can steal a blanket, too!

Andrea is a nice boy who deserves a comfortable home where he can enjoy his favorite toys, canine companionship, and all the love a senior pup could ask for.
