At Blue Pearl Emergency with Little Big. He was MIA at breakfast time. I turned the house upside down and inside out looking for him. Went to PT. Looked again when I got home, nada. Went into the living room an hour later & there he was. Tried to pick him up & he didn’t want it, but as he tried to escape, I could see he was having trouble with his hind legs. Waiting to hear for an hour now, so hope it’s not a clot!

Trap acclimation = success! Last fall, the trap closed on Brigadoon before he was all the way in the trap. I waited, hoping he’d forget it. Last week, he was limping, so I got the trap out. He wouldn’t go near it! So I rigged it to stay open, and over the course of the week, moved the food further and further towards the back. Last night he ate dinner all the way inside, so this morning, i set it to catch him. He watched the whole time and sat in the shade waiting for Max to leave his bowl - but I snagged that & took it back inside. Within a few minutes, though, I saw he was trapped. We had a lovely ride down Belfield Avenue with windows open for the cool morning air, and Brigadoon is at ACCT awaiting his “spa day.”
