Behind every patient, every recovery, every second chance, and every difficult goodbye is a team that gives so much of themselves every single day.
One of the greatest privileges of veterinary medicine is being welcomed into the lives of families and their companions. Sometimes we get to be there from the very beginning, and sometimes the first time we meet is also the day we help them say goodbye. Witnessing the beautiful bond between people and their animals is something words will never fully explain.
And often, it’s the little things nobody sees that mean the most. The cheese for a nervous dog, the Churu for a scared cat, the silly baby voices and songs with their names in it, the extra cuddles, or helping a senior pet make their way through the hospital to a comfy bed. Every small act comes from a place of genuine love.
Whether it’s a kitten or puppy’s first visit or a pet’s final moments, our entire team gives their whole hearts to every patient and every family.
As a veterinarian and hospital owner, I truly cannot put into words how much this team means to me or how much each person contributes to the care you and your pets receive, often behind the scenes.
I’m proud of the medicine we practice, but even prouder of the people who make it possible.
This week has been a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our veterinary technicians, but the truth is, every member of our team deserves to be celebrated, appreciated, and recognized every single day, not just one week out of the year. From our veterinary technicians and assistants to our doctors, client service representatives, managers, and support staff, every role matters. The work you do matters, the love you give matters, and you deserve to know just how much.
To my team: Thank you for showing up, caring so deeply, supporting one another, and loving our patients like your own. You are the heart of this hospital, and I am so lucky to stand beside you. ❤️🐾 There really would be no this without you
