FIREWORKS SAFETY TIPS FOR YOUR PETS
1. Keep your pets safely indoors during any fireworks events.
2. If loud noises scare your pets try using a sound machine to drown out the scary noises or leave on the TV for your pet.
3. Sweep any areas that fireworks may have been used to avoid your pet eating any remnants.
4. If your pet is known to bolt during fireworks make sure they are chipped and the microchip company information is up to date. Secure all gates if your pet will be going into your yard to ensure they will not get out.

HOT WEATHER TIPS TO KEEP YOUR PETS HEALTHY!
1. Make sure your pet has access to fresh water!
2. Do not leave pets in a car alone! On an 80Degree day in just 20 min your car can heat to 109degrees!
3. Do not let pets linger on the sidewalk or asphalt!
4. Animals with flat faces are more susceptible to heat stroke! Dogs such as pugs, bulldogs and frenchies should not be outside for longer than 10-15 minutes! Do not exercise your pets outdoors during this time!
5. Watch your elderly dogs and those with heart or lung disease for any distress!
If you suspect your dog is having a heat stroke call your veterinarian immediately!
