Off-leash fun is reserved for inside your home, your fenced yard, or a fully enclosed dog park.

Happy International Armadillo Day! 🦔🤎

Did you know armadillos are the official state small mammal of Texas? 🌵⭐ These little diggers are a familiar sight around Central Texas and play an important role in the ecosystem.

So today, we’re celebrating our armored neighbors! 🥳🦔

Fun fact: Armadillos can hold their breath for several minutes and even “walk” along the bottom of shallow water! 😲

☀️ A parked vehicle can become dangerously hot in just minutes—even when it's only 70°F outside.

Even on a mild day, the temperature inside a vehicle can climb to dangerous levels in a short amount of time. Cracking the windows does not keep pets safe. Heatstroke can happen quickly and may become life-threatening.

📍 Pflugerville residents/visitors: If you see a pet left unattended in a vehicle within Pflugerville city limits during hot weather, contact Pflugerville Animal Welfare Services at 512-990-PETS (7387) Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m. After hours, on weekends, or during holidays, contact the Pflugerville Police Department non-emergency line 512-990-6700.

It's City Hall Selfie Day!🏙️🤳

Every hour brings something different, but around the clock, City employees and City Council members are here serving our community. Every day, our teams work to provide the services our community members rely on and make Pflugerville a great place to call home. And of course, we have a little pfun along the way.💙
