We regularly explore the beautiful country found at our doorstep and travel throughout the United States and Canada to work and play with our crew. Our goal is to consistently produce quality Jack Russell Terriers with excellent temperaments, conformation, health and working instincts. All of our terriers are raised in our home and are cherished members of our family.

We LOVE getting pictures from our Shavano Creek Families! We just heard from the Timmermans who moved from Colorado to Switzerland with Shavano Creek Freddy. I can almost hear the beauty! ❤

We’ve done a lot of exploring in and around Switzerland (he’s joined us in Spain, France, the Netherlands and Germany so far) This summer we moved into our ‘forever home’ in a small town in Switzerland. It’s a beautiful area surrounded by hiking trails and lakes, and he loves it here. He’s never been too keen on swimming, but he loves standing in the lake and look for fish (we think he may have been a cat in his previous life), he is also keen to join us on SUP adventures, as long as he can stay on the board.

You're looking so handsome sweet Freddy! What an amazing life you have. ❤ Enjoy your new home and give your mom and dad a hug (and one for you too! ) from your family in Colorado!

We're honored and proud of our families and crew for representing Shavano Creek and Brooks Chase at the JRTCA Nationals, winning The May Day National Over Puppy Racing Champion award for two years running!

In 2023, Shelley & Jack Firestone with their pup Shavano Creek Tresor blazed over the finish lines. In 2024, Johnna Oliver and Shavano Creek Red Solo Pup raced with lightning speed to also bring home the SAME award! Tresor and Solo are siblings from separate litters (Shavano Creek Tesla x Brooks Chase Jude). We're so proud of you both! We love seeing you run and are excited to see you run in your adult careers! We can't wait to see who takes home the plaque this year!

We 're so happy to have Jake back at the Ruckus in the Rockies (September 13-14 2025) this year with his URBAN WARFARE HUNT SIMULATOR. Here is last year's setup and fun! Each year Jake brings us something new and creative for our terriers and their people. We can't wait to see what's in store this year!
