🩺 Our clinic had a shocking, spooky surprise for Joni! 🎃

Joni wears many hats:
🐾 NMDR Community Engagement Manager
🐶 Ravi's Mom
🎙️True Crime Fan

So when our vet clinic wanted to do something fun to surprise Joni, they had the perfect idea: a true crime scene with Ravi at the center of the action.

Ravi was born with a deformity of his elbows, but his medical needs have never made him any less deserving of love, care, and a happy life- which Joni is certainly giving him.

🎃 Share this video if it gave you a laugh, and from all your friends at NMDR, have a great Halloween weekend!

🐾😂 Meet Aspen… the happiest dog on the planet and Dogsville's self-appointed Director of Everything! ❤️

Aspen is a four-year-old Lab mix who wakes up every morning with one very important goal: to participate in absolutely EVERYTHING! 🤣

Going for a walk? Aspen insists on helping by carrying her own leash in her mouth. Because why should the humans get to do all the work? The real question is… who's walking whom?! 🐕😂

And when she's not supervising her daily walks, Aspen has another very important job… Assistant Kennel Supply Un-Organizer!

See that nice, tidy basket of harnesses? Not on Aspen's watch! One by one, she carefully removes them. Our staff puts them back… Aspen takes them out again… staff puts them back… Aspen takes them out. Apparently, the humans are having a little trouble understanding her organizational system. 🤣

Aspen approaches life with the enthusiasm of a dog who believes every single moment is the BEST moment ever. Walks… adventures… exploring… helping… making mischief… she is here for ALL of it! ❤️

We absolutely adore this goofy, joyful girl. She keeps us laughing, keeps us on our toes, and reminds us every day just how much happiness one dog can bring into the world.

🥹❤️ And as much as we love having her here, we cannot WAIT to see Aspen find her very own happy home! Somewhere she can supervise the household, organize things her way, and bring her infectious joy to the people lucky enough to call her family.

🎥 Turn up the volume and enjoy a little Aspen sunshine! ☀️🐾

Interested in making Aspen part of your life? Visit our website and get your adoption application in today! She's waiting at our Dogsville campus in Humansville, Missouri!

Change Ammo's weekly cast with us for Halloween! He is an incredibly brave dog ❤️

Ammo was hit by a car, and our orthopedic surgeon performed an FHO surgery to repair his hip, as well as a surgery that put pins in Ammo's broken toes.

This injury has taken quite a while to heal, but Ammo has been so strong and brave throughout the process.

Today, our staff member and Ammo's foster mom, Kaci, is walking us through Ammo's progress as this Blue Merle Australian Shepherd gets his cast changed (post orthopedic surgery).

Ammo will be available for adoption at our Peyton, Colorado campus once he is healed.

🐾 If you're new to our page, welcome to NMDR! We rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome retired commercial breeding dogs.

🚨 Room service has arrived. The guests would like to inspect their accommodations.

Freshly laundered blankets, clean kennels, and a new selection of toys… but will everything pass the sniff test? 🐶

At our Peyton, Colorado dog rescue, the best part of a kennel cleaning might just be lifting that divider and watching our four-legged residents come forward to investigate.

Every nose has important business to attend to. Every toy requires inspection. And every dog deserves a comfortable place to rest while waiting for their next chapter. ❤️

Come meet some of our very special guests! Visit NMDR.org to learn more and see our available dogs.
