Congrats to our 7th grade boys basketball team on winning the Championship of the Greenview Tournament with a 38-5 win over Virginia!! Dexter Gust was named Tournament MVP!

8th grade lost 29-34 to Virginia.

  PORTA High School celebrated Jett Karrick and Aubrey Vogel as they signed to continue their athletic careers in college on Thursday. Karrick will attend John Wood Community College and play basketball. Vogel will attend Eastern Illinois

The PORTA Girls Coop Swim Team finished their season at a strong Sectional Meet held at Normal Community. In high school swimming, there is only one class of schools. The girls placed 9th out of 13 schools with several girls swimming season and personal best times. Best times were swam in the 200 Medley Relay (Phoebe Hacke, Natalie Held, Lila Armstrong, Corajoy Koke), 50 Free (Emily Marcum), 100 Free (Lila Armstrong), 100 Backstroke (Sharon Yeagle, Kaydence Hamm), 100 Breaststroke (Samantha O'Neill). The highlight of the meet was the 400 Free Relay (Adelyn Rollins, Margaret Hacke, Phoebe Hacke, Lila Armstrong) getting on the medal stand in 5th place! Great season, girls!
