Bulldog Educational Enterprise

Bulldog Educational Enterprise Thrift Store hosted by Local Students Students will open the doors Wednesday and Friday for shopping from 10:00 until 2:00 at 508 North Aquanaldo Avenue.

Taylor County High School students participating in Community Based Work Experience will once again be operating the Bulldog Educational Enterprise. Students receive donations from the community, organize these donations and host yard sales in addition to continuing the service work provided to the community by the Salvation Army by assisting in giving to those who may be in need. This program has

multiple goals. One is to teach students that community service is vital to community survival. Another is to have the students develop interpersonal skills through cooperative service learning. These students will also begin developing and benefitting from the profits of the weekly yard sales, learning banking skills, financial management skills, individual and group responsibility, work habits, and “soft skills” that will help these young people transition into more independent, successful adult living. Donations are needed to continue this program and may be dropped off Monday through Friday from 10:00 until 2:00. Please contact Robin Baker or Angela Jones by PM if you are interested in donating items. Thank you for your continued support of our students and we hope to see you shopping at Bulldog Educational Enterprise.
