Tomorrow is 🌿💛

Every week, I share a little piece of serenity from here at the sanctuary—a quiet sunrise, animals peacefully grazing, geese enjoying the morning, or simply one of those little moments that makes you stop and appreciate where you are.

But tomorrow, I want to see YOUR serenity too. 🥰

Show us what peace looks like in your world. Maybe it’s your animals, your garden, your morning coffee, a beautiful view, a walk in the woods, or just a quiet moment you needed more than you realized.

📸 Post your Serenity scene tomorrow
💛 Use
🏷️ Tag Serenity in the Cypress so we can find it!

I’d love to start sharing some of YOUR Serenity Sunday moments too, so we can fill our feeds with a little more peace, beauty, kindness and gratitude.

Because goodness knows the world could use more of that. 🌿

Tomorrow, take a moment. Find your serenity. Share it with us.

Let’s make bigger than the sanctuary. Let’s make it something we all share. 💛🦆🐴🐾

good morning... Triple C farrier is here and we're working away already. so be patient with me on content this morning because I'm entirely overwhelmed.

I have some tragic news that I'll be posting about as well, so please send us all the good vibes this morning.

Sending out a huge thank you to Linda Williams Brannon and Susan Gustafson for sending a little something to help pay for the farrier today.

If anyone else would like to donate, our links are in our bio or you can donate to this Facebook fundraiser!

Mystery says good morning and doesn't anyone want to sign up to volunteer one day a week or month to help the animals? I sometimes feel like the only non profit in Taylor County with ZERO volunteers.

I need people to brush and bathe horses and spend extra time with them. I need people to volunteer to feed and water occasionally. I need people to scoop p**p out of the yard where the horses stay when they're having health issues. I need people to volunteer for transport runs. I just need PEOPLE who CARE and want to HELP.

Where are my horse and Farm animal people at? Just because it isn't dogs and cats doesn't mean it isn't just as important.

I'm trying so hard to build something here to give second chances to animals and addicts... but y'all i CANNOT do this alone!

Message me for more info on volunteering

🌅 Serenity Sunday 🌅

There’s something about a sunrise at the sanctuary that makes the whole world feel a little softer.

The sky slowly fills with color, the animals begin to stir, and for just a few quiet moments, nothing else seems quite as important.

This morning, Willa stood beneath that beautiful sky, and then BeeGee and Mystery with the sunrise glowing behind them… and I couldn’t help but think about how much these mornings mean to me.

A sunrise is proof that we get to begin again.

Yesterday may have been hard. Life may not look the way we thought it would. We may be carrying things nobody else can see. But morning still comes. The sun still rises. And another chance is waiting for us.

That’s what this sanctuary has always been about.

Second chances for animals who needed somewhere safe to land.
Second chances for people who are trying to find their way again.
And sometimes, second chances for those of us who simply need a reason to keep going. ❤️

So on this Serenity Sunday, take a moment to notice something beautiful. Let yourself be still. Let yesterday stay where it belongs.

The sun came up today.

And so did we. 🌅🐴💛

🥚🦆 FRESH DUCK EGGS & GARDEN GOLD AVAILABLE! 🐴🌱

We’ve got two kinds of farm-fresh goodness available from the sanctuary — one for your kitchen and one for your garden! And every purchase helps support the animals in our care. ❤️

🥚 FRESH, FREE-RANGE DUCK EGGS

If you’ve never tried duck eggs, you’re missing out! Duck eggs are generally larger and richer than chicken eggs, with bigger yolks and a higher fat and protein content. That rich yolk makes them especially AMAZING for baking — think fluffier cakes, richer brownies, and delicious homemade breads. 🤤

And there’s something special about getting eggs straight from birds that spend their days outside being birds. Our ducks have access to fresh air, sunshine, grass, bugs, and all the things they naturally love to forage for. You know where your food came from, you know it’s fresh, and you’re supporting animals that are cared for right here in our community.

🐴💩 FRESH HORSE MANURE — AKA GARDEN GOLD!

Yep, we’re selling p**p too. 😂 But if you garden, you already know that good p**p is valuable stuff!

Horse manure adds organic matter and nutrients to your soil, helps improve soil structure, and can help your garden soil retain moisture while supporting all those beneficial little organisms working beneath the surface.

It’s wonderful for compost piles and, once properly composted or aged, can be worked into garden beds to help build healthier, richer soil. 🌱🌻🍅

Important garden tip: Fresh horse manure is generally best composted or aged before using around food crops, rather than piling it directly around plants you’re about to harvest.

So whether you need some big, beautiful duck eggs for breakfast and baking or a load of horse-powered fertilizer for the garden, send us a message!

And the best part? Your purchase helps feed and care for the very animals providing the goods. 🦆🐴❤️

Farm fresh. Local. Supporting second chances.
